Absolutely brilliant. As a plus size woman, this knowledge opens up so many more patterns for me. Thank you 😊

I've never thought to not cut the pattern one size based on one measurement and adjust from there. Wow.

I made a sheath dress that puckers on the back around the waistline, how can I fix it? The front fits perfectly, and the back except for those puckers - like rolls of fabric, like extra fabric - fits very well... I thought of taking it in from the center back to create a curvier line but I think it will affect the width and not the length which seems to be the problem. Also, it is strapless, so if I kind of pull the fabric up at the top it will get the otherwise perfect darts crooked... I really, truly, appreciate your help! Txs!

I'm still unsure as to why you cut the size 10 instead of the size 20 for the hips. Please explain this section.

Kiana Archer Anne. The person I did this for is smaller on bottom than top.

HI MRS. ANDREA THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR SEWING EXPERTISE. I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A VEDIO FOR GRADING A PRINCESS SKIRT. DO YOU HAVE A VEDIO FOR THAT KIND OF GRADING? IF NOT, IS THIS A VEDIO YOU WOULD THINK OF PRODUCING. I KNOW HOW TO SEW BUT FITTING IS A FRUSTRATING ISSUE FOR ME. I LOVE SEWING. I WILL NOT STOP, JUST WORKING ON GETTING BETTER IN THESE AREAS. I HOPE TO HEAR FROM YOU SOON. IM ALSO LEARNING BLOGGING, ETC THANKS. GOD BLESS.
