Thanks so much for the mention, Sam! I love all your upcycles, especially the beautiful top you made from a saree and the jacket you made from your husband's jeans! I'm now obsessing on that jacket! I already have the Paola jacket pattern so I might have to thrift a couple pairs of large jeans and that will be my #SewUpcycle22 entry! Great job giving so much inspiration in this video!!

The Dylon Machine Dye will work a treat on your duvet cover and your favoured blues are particularly strong dyes. The navy comes out very dark and I usually overload this one a bit to spread the dye further, although it will wash down a little with subsequent washes. So far, I've tried the vintage blue, the jeans blue, the navy, the plum red, the deep violet, the smoke grey and lots of black to keep my blacks black! I have not been disappointed with any of the results. The deep violet isn't dark enough for me so I am trying to decide what to mix it with to put it in aubergine territory. My next dying project will either be peony pink or dusty violet to colour some viscose jersey that is currently tie dyed with purple on a white background. Enjoy it. There's nothing like a transformation to give you a warm, fuzzy feeling and I look forward to seeing your makes. x 😁

Lots of brilliant ideas there. I tend to look for cotton curtains and table clothes from charity shops to use for projects. I found a curtain that is almost like a narrow corduroy that I plan to make either dungarees or pinafore dress.

Lovely to see all the things you’ve up-cycled before. Love the denim jacket and the little top with the boo on the front. Your plans for this challenge sound great, the blouse sounds great, I made the Norma blouse before. I found it’s a bit low cut for me so I’d raise the neckline for me personally in future ❤ xx

Upcycling is so fun! I have some very large jeans a coworker gave me that will eventually be made into a jean jacket but not for the challenge. I have some ideas that will hopefully work for the challenge. You are the queen of upcycled!

Great upcycles Sam. I've recently made a beach cover up from an old duvet cover. It was meant to be a toile but turned out fairly OK so will be taking it away with me in a few weeks. Thanks for the inspiration.

I'm not sure Elisa if they plan to rem=new it Elisa but our current challenge #sewfrugal23 may be of interest, you can include upcycles for that, so long as you use a free pattern & whatever you're upcycling is already in your stash
