Medi Thank u so much for this tutorial, i have made up to three pant short from dis tutorial but i want to know if i can add dart to it since the back is elastic i don't know if dart can come in

Why are we not adding allowance to the back Waist

No need to add any allowance since we used the hip measurement on the waist

@SewwithMediva I now see where my mistake used to come from ... I do take up the 2 sewing allowance up to the waist, and when I add elastic, I don't like d outcome of the backside . With this, your tutorial, I have learned my mistakes . Thank you, and God bless you 🙏

@SewwithMediva please one more thing 🙏.... if I wanted a fitted leg trouser( not too wide like palazo) with a back elastic waist band , am I going to reduce my lap measurement at the hem of the trousers or what?

@bolatosin2998 yess you have to reduce your lap or thigh measurement so that the lower part will be a bit narrow
