Omg it’s the most intimate thing you can do. I remember the first time I moved in with a boyfriend. We had been together for 4 years. We had done EVERYTHING two people can do to/with each other; the most intimate we thought humans could be. But sharing a bathroom and a home with someone is so much more intimate and vulnerable than anything I’ve done in the bedroom. You’re both so exposed and sensitive and you feel them judging you so you lash out before they can. You can keep it cute for a vacation, or even multiple sleep overs a week. But eventually you get your space back and can do the things you only do alone. The merging of spaces, man. It will make or break you.

I think Aiden didn't act humble enough in the situation. He is moving into her place, he needs to take responsibility for the space that he claims and his dog that's unpredictable in the flat. This could've been handled better by planning and respecting each others needs. I agree with Carries "case", it isn't acceptable to just throw half her wardrobe out and leave an animal unsupervised in a tiny flat, however the way that she acts is completely childish, selfish and mean. Aidan is not mean, he could've planned it better though. He is a bit clueless with girls values which is forgivable. But Carrie lacks the patience of a grown woman and is way too mean and aggressive. If he had her heart, she'd never talk down to him like she did. Carrie doesn't know what she wants or she's too selfish to give the man the truth. - My amateur-relationship-validation for the day.. I agree with Carrie on this. It might've been extremely petty, but it was also highly understandable. Aiden's stuff was all around her apartment and he had his dog with him whilst Carrie was struggling to get through the door.Then on top of everything else, Aiden had told her that she didn't need all of the stuff in her closet and his dog had chewed on her shoes. I liked Aiden but he shouldn't have tried to make Carrie get rid of her designer clothes that were sentimental to her. He should’ve moved in his stuff at a gradual pace instead of all at once and had his dog trained to not chew up other people's shoes to prevent this argument from happening in the first place. And if someone doesn't like my opinion on this matter than oh well: I can't please everybody.

Younger, I do not understand Carrie dumping the super sweet Aiden. But now, 15 years later, it’s pretty evident that they have nothing in common. Aiden is down to earth, want a family and a simple life. Carrie is completely the opposite. She can admire the man but she is not the right one for him...neither him for her.

Aidan is everyone dream man, he is kind, sweet hardworking, goes out of his way for her friends and her friends love ones, and Carrie couldn’t handle a grownup relationship, she rather be treated like trash by big, cuz it was more exciting, big gestures, but big and Carrie had nothing in common, Natalie and Aidan deserved better and they got it, Carrie got ending with big, but even that wasn’t easy, first movie, he stands her up on their wedding day, second movie, he wants them to live apart, in the reboot, he dies, cuz the actor who plays big was facing sexual assault in his real life, and the new big, relationships in reboot was Miranda, Chaz, and her poor husband steve
