Socially awkward high school student Otis may not have much experience in the lovemaking department, but he gets good guidance on the topic in his personal sex ed course -- living with mom Jean, who is a sex therapist. Being surrounded by manuals, videos and tediously open conversations about sex, Otis has become a reluctant expert on the subject. When his classmates learn about his home life, Otis decides to use his insider knowledge to improve his status at school, so he teams with whip-smart bad girl Maeve to set up an underground sex therapy clinic to deal with their classmates' problems. But through his analysis of teenage sexuality, Otis realizes that he may need some therapy of his own.

Yeah, just as long as every single character is a victim. In a show with one bad person on a bus 3 years ago. Handicapped victim, Deaf victim, Many trans victims, women victimoized by overbearing boyfriend, gay victim conflicted with his religion, omg there are at least 15 more. When did sex become so painfullu SERIOUS. At 18 this is the the greatest time of you'll have in your life and everyone is complaining of victimhood in a show with no bad charachters. It lost everything that was relatably and charming in the early season to become a woke-a-thon. ugh. I love how the charachters have to get permission before doing annything in bed, so romantic, lol. 10 years this will be complete cringe.

Nice overview but just one question. Why do you define Otis's clinic as unethical? I think he is providing a genuine service. If the parents and teachers (the class where Jean sits in and the education is clearly from the 1950's) is a great example of why Otis is conducting himself in a moral and ethical manner. I just wish every school had an Otis!
