I was 14 when this came out. Shock and horror!! Was the reaction in those days, living in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Looking at it at 61, I find it surprisingly mild. It was revolutionairy. Political. Crying out the truth about how young people viewed their future in the late 70's. I miss that kind of music. I miss someone rebelling against the machine. Never mind if it are the Pistols or Dylan or Seeger. Nowadays people in western Europe are lulled to sleep by a certain comfortable lifestyle where you don't have to be hungry, naked or homeless.
