The plaintiff says the defendant is her daughter, who was a teen runaway and a victim of sex trafficking. She’s suing her child for emotional distress. The defendant says the plaintiff neglected her and she ended up in foster care, so she’s countersuing for emotional distress.

@@giveback unfortunately none of the cases are fake. Yes I know it’s tv and judge Mathis is a retired judge but he is now and arbiter and all cases that are on court tv are real. A contract is given to the plaintiff and defendant for their cases to appear on here and to be heard through production. Court tv is not “real” court but is considered mediation.
