Let’s be real, Carrie is so invested in a random woman’s opinion because she knows deep down she’s in the wrong. She got with Aidan who was nothing short of great, started complaining to her friends that he was too available, had an affair with her ex. then BEGS for Aidan back later on, continues communicating with her ex, the guy she cheated on Aidan with, with the expectation that Aidan should be completely comfortable with that, and then wastes his time and breaks his heart again. Then she runs around this episode obsessing because a random woman gave her a face. And all she cares about is her reputation, she doesn’t even care about what she did to Aidan.

At the begining of that episode when Nina is introduced to Carrie, Nina makes that face because she explained. "I went out with Adian after you." I don't blame Nina at all, and maybe she can't control her face. How awful for Adian. It's lucky that no one interviewed Natasha or Nina on their thoughts about Carrie. They could have really bashed her. Carrie didn't need to stalk either woman--she just wanted to ease her conscience.

I thought it was so funny that after Carrie obsessed over this for an entire episode, Nina just said "okay" and basically looked at her wondering why Carrie would even tell her all of that, it's not like she cares lol. Also, I'm glad Stanford call her out for being so self-involved. Here to rant....OH MY GOD, Carrie is so self absorbed. In this episode, she calls Miranda who tells her how she's not had a good night's sleep in weeeeeks coz Brady won't stop crying, and she's a mess and Carrie instead of being a friend goes on and on and on about how Nina Katz gave her "the face". What's even more exasperating is that she guilt trips Samantha about not helping out Miranda. Sam being the awesome friend she is goes to Miranda's house, tells Miranda to go to her hair appointment which she's been trying to get for weeks while Sam takes care of Brady. All this while Carrie (who shamed Sam for not giving an f about Miranda) is spending a lazy Saturday watching SNL while thinking did Nina Katz tell the celeb guests about her. Later in the episode Stanford asks what Carrie thinks about his new relationship and she tosses the question off to - guess what - talk about Nina Katz giving her the face! This is exactly what having a Narcissistic friend or being in a relationship with a Narcissist feels like
