It seems that the individuals who made allegations against him weren't underage. Another problem is that if there was texts by the accusers thanking him for the night. It's possible that makes him guilty of infidelity but not for the crime of sexual assault.

The accusations are not of rape. They are of verbal sexual harassment. There's a MOUNTAIN of difference. I recommend you read about how much money Bunshun is making from this article as well.

To be honest this is not called rap or sexual assault? They are sexual assault the girls should call a police rights of way, why now they suiting him on 8 years. I think he had to pay a lot of court alimony or resign his tv entertainment career, this is not a legal case. By the way how old the girl is, 21 to 25 is an adult. If Matsumoto has sexual activity with younger girls 16 to 17, he will be having problems with it or go to jail dating & affair with young girls is illegal in Japan.

I agree, but that’s the accusation. Young women may fear repercussions from powerful old men if they go to the police. That could be an explanation.

They mentioned in the video that legislation has changed to include “non-consensual sex” to the charge of rape It’s definitely not as simple as you’re making it out and the video makes it clear

As long you go inside of the private property....they can do whatever they like, they can get rid of the evidence....this is the main reason why cctv and body camera is important and never go inside of some private property that does not allow phones or no cctv's

Matsumoto is a real gentleman. He isn't a womanizer. If this was said about Hamada, I might've believed, because even on camera he was getting all touchy touchy with women, and Matsumoto would try to pull him away. He alwqys behaved gentleman like. It seems like now, even Japan has now fallen prey to the farce "metoo" movement. Or this was a ruse by his enemies to use a woman to bring him down and tarnish his name (he is a very successful comedian actor afterall). This B.S. of a Man having to be branded as guilty until he's proven innocent and the exact opposite for a woman (innocent until proven guilty), this double-standard has to stop.
