I was recently delivered from homosexuality. I am 30 years old and I've been dating women since elementary. I never thought me getting closer to God would cause me to literally just let that go. I thought It was good enough to say I was living for Christ. I'm so grateful for God's mercy while I was lost. I stayed away from the Bible cause I wasn't ready for that truth. Now I can't get full off anything but the word.

This is the single best message I've heard about this subject. Our hetero proclivities being just as sinful as homosexual proclivities, and that at base we're ALL sinners that need God in our lives. I've seen comments saying that you can't be a gay Christian, but Jesus came to save the whole world, everybody, WHOSOEVER believes in him, and these messages get mixed up and lead people to more "accepting" churches and more diluted Christianity. This is the message more people need to hear.

i think this is a Christian platform and that argument doesnt even apply because the bible clearly states that homosexuality is sin. Of course there are people who want to love outside of Christ thats a choice but if this person wants to pray for God to help them stop its because something in their conscience is telling them that what they are calling love is lust and if you want to make them comfortable in xomething they find uncomfortable you are interfering with the very part of them thats meant to guide them through life. Nandi it's not an easy thing to deal with. I'll pray for you. I know you typed this 8 months ago...haha but hopefully you are still walking with the Lord. Remember that no temptation has befallen us, except what is common to man.(1Cor10:13) And we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses but was in every way tempted as we are, yet without sin. (Heb 4:15) Also remember that God has a different plan for our lives than we do. This is such a scary truth but God will do great things with you when you fully surrender to him, things that you could have not imagined. (Eph 3:20-21) And he has prepared things for us that we do not even understand...1 Corinthians 2:9 says "But as it is written: 'Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.'" God loves us and we have to keep believing that through faith in the good times and the difficult times, despite our feelings in each moment. Do not rely on how you feel to tell you what is true. Our emotions are deceitful and often uncontrollable. (Jeremiah 17:9 )"The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?" We don't know WHY we have these different desires and it is discouraging sometimes. You might see other people who don't have the same issues and think their lives are perfect. But don't look at them, look at Jesus Christ and remember how crazy his life was. Isaiah 26:3 "You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you."..."Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight." (Prov 3:5-6)

Not really. She is missing the context of Romans 1. They were worshiping false gods in a temple and consumed with sexual orgies. Homosexuality is natural. It occurs freely in nature (1,500+ species). There are other doctrinal beliefs that are much more sound that fully embrace the LGBT Community. People have committed suicide from anti-gay therapies.

@@lisaanderson5612 Hi Lisa. Animals also eat their young. We do not base our morality on nature or animals or feelings or popular opinion. Outside of Romans 1, God has expressed that having sex with someone that was born with the same genitalia is sin.
@lisaanderson56124 жыл бұрын
@@kh9993 I wasn't making an argument based upon morality, but what is defined as "natural". Something cannot be against nature if it occurs freely in nature. God did not say that, a man wrote that. Also another man wrote that a man could sell his Daughter as a sex slave (Read Exodus 21:7). Go on a literal Scripture argument, and you will end up off a cliff. Standard slavery and polygamy were freely acceptable (OT Through the NT unless you were an elder).
@kh99934 жыл бұрын
@@lisaanderson5612 The Bible is among other things, a history book. (Prophecy, poetry, instruction, etc. as well) But in terms of history, we do not read what a flawed human being did and base doctrine on it. Rather, we read it as a cautionary tale. But, you know that, right? You know that we don't build altars or temples or stone, disobedient kids, anymore. The inclusion of the horrific and evil decisions that people made is one of the things that sets the Bible apart from other religious texts. Showing leaders making terrible decisions, like Samson or Saul or David grant validity to the text because they aren't whitewashed. These people did horrible things and they desperately needed a Savior. Just like we do.
@lisaanderson56124 жыл бұрын
@@kh9993 History isn't the context there. It's governing how sexual slavery, slavery and polygamy can be handled. I pray for my 20 yr old daughter daily. She identifies as a trans male and is hurting her body with testosterone so much so that it’s caused medical problems. Everytime I have tried to get close to her she refuses to talk to me unless I respect her pro nouns and accept her gf. I’m totally lost and so sad that she has stoped talking to me. Your messages are beautiful and gives me great insight! I wish I could share these messages with her without unsetting her.

Just every single video gives me life just straight talking no faff no shouting no judgement logical evidence based teacher just obviously so full of the Holy Spirit 🤓this is the kind of people I would want in my ministry only way to describe it is just the continual flowing of fresh clean running water just so full of all walks of life adapting to every crook cranny and dry patch It has contact with and nourishes and replenishes constantly growing and expanding such a powerful force but never really changes form only time water changes is when it becomes stagnant then it’s full of bacteria and parasites like the kind of church folk Jackie encountered it stoped her flow with god himself because they are a lil puddle structured and religious clones like same dead energy inside the same people every week sit in the same places similar teachings that’s not a healthy church just god bless this beautiful lady 🙏🏽 I hope to be as good as this one day 🤓

What’s really powerful is that you homophobic people think that being gay makes you go to hell just for loving someone, while you homophobes discriminate against gay people and think that’s what gets you to the golden gates of Heaven. Honestly, hilarious 😂😂

If your daughter loves women that is perfectly normal. That is how she is born and praying for it probably won't change anything because that is just how she is. I don't know if I believe in god but I think that he loves everything as they are.

It all starts with understanding that behind everything that overpowers you resides a spirit. The spirit will relentlessly suggest its own desires to you until you surrender to them. Then it will influence you even to the point that you convince yourself that this is your own nature. But a Christian has no other nature than the nature of Yehoshua which is Holiness. The power and authority that we have in the name of Yehoshua can free anyone from any addiction including homosexuality, masturbation, drugs...if only we can believe it. Where are those Christians who believe that the Bible is true and that faith does not consists in word only but in power also.
