I was recently delivered from homosexuality. I am 30 years old and I've been dating women since elementary. I never thought me getting closer to God would cause me to literally just let that go. I thought It was good enough to say I was living for Christ. I'm so grateful for God's mercy while I was lost. I stayed away from the Bible cause I wasn't ready for that truth. Now I can't get full off anything but the word.

This is the single best message I've heard about this subject. Our hetero proclivities being just as sinful as homosexual proclivities, and that at base we're ALL sinners that need God in our lives. I've seen comments saying that you can't be a gay Christian, but Jesus came to save the whole world, everybody, WHOSOEVER believes in him, and these messages get mixed up and lead people to more "accepting" churches and more diluted Christianity. This is the message more people need to hear.

@@Blackcat-mp9cm praying that your ignorance of sin is exposed to you so that you can no longer live in darkness any longer and try to take others with you.
@quaestionescordis77153 жыл бұрын
@@Blackcat-mp9cmI know this has been over a year but I will just say this as clarity. Remember God created everything in his own image. You, me, everything that has existence beautifully. But sadly, By the disobedience of ONE man, due to the temptation of the evil one, a death sentence took over all humanity, since the wages for sin is death. But by the LOVE and GRACE of God towards us, He sent His only son to this world. He lived a perfect ,sinless and righteous life. He willingly took the burden of the worlds sin upon Himself, and of course, He got whipped, spat on, and crucified. He then got buried and arose 3 days later conquering sin and death. And whoever believes in Him, believes in it with their hearts and mind and confess it with their mouth are saved and made righteous. And reconciled with The Father, Our Father, A Love NOBODY cant separate us from, unless we ourselves reject it. He is always at the door waiting(metaphorically), always the light in our darkness, but as we sin more and more it separates us more from Him, because He's Holy we have to comprehend that. But that is why He sent Jesus so whoever believes in Him is made clean, if they mean it sincerely, Imagine the LOVE and GRACE it took for Him, How much He cared enough to come on earth to just die out of Love. As said, John 3:17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. And yes, It will be a journey living through Christ, rocky and smooth, but it'll be worth it. Trust me I was long gone lost but the impact Jesus had in my life was inexplicable, The void we all search to fill, the void I searched to fill was completely healed, I am not worthy of His love, I was a unclean human, sinful, yet He still accepted me as His child, and helped me change and took the time to fix the ¨broken-ness¨. We are all sinners no matter the context but what matters more is what Jesus did on the cross out of Love. Gods grace extends to millions of miles likewise His Faithfulness with us. I hope you take the chance to encounter Jesus, Gods sufficient grace, peace, joy and love. Much love and blessings

i think this is a Christian platform and that argument doesnt even apply because the bible clearly states that homosexuality is sin. Of course there are people who want to love outside of Christ thats a choice but if this person wants to pray for God to help them stop its because something in their conscience is telling them that what they are calling love is lust and if you want to make them comfortable in xomething they find uncomfortable you are interfering with the very part of them thats meant to guide them through life. Very true at 43 min. It's important to keep in mind to speak to the image bearer and not the person's sexuality. I guess it's easy to do that though as people who are being same sex attracted displaying their sexuality in proud (gay pride) ways, displaying it bluntly as if it was all there is to know about them. You know what I mean? So it is important for us to also tell same sex attracted people that they are more than their sexuality claiming their "right" to be that. That they are image bearers of their Creator, body, soul & spirit and not a walking sexuality. God does not disapprove them more than someone watching porn, someone who commits adultery, fornication, steals, murders etc. etc. but same as. You aren’t struggling with it. You’re not accepting yourself for who you are, so you’re trying to find reasons to not accept your sexuality by looking into religious beliefs. Believe me when I say there is NOTHING wrong with being gay. Love is about, well, love not gender. I really don’t believe that being gay is a sin, but if you do, at the end of the day you can repent.

Nandi it's not an easy thing to deal with. I'll pray for you. I know you typed this 8 months ago...haha but hopefully you are still walking with the Lord. Remember that no temptation has befallen us, except what is common to man.(1Cor10:13) And we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses but was in every way tempted as we are, yet without sin. (Heb 4:15) Also remember that God has a different plan for our lives than we do. This is such a scary truth but God will do great things with you when you fully surrender to him, things that you could have not imagined. (Eph 3:20-21) And he has prepared things for us that we do not even understand...1 Corinthians 2:9 says "But as it is written: 'Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.'" God loves us and we have to keep believing that through faith in the good times and the difficult times, despite our feelings in each moment. Do not rely on how you feel to tell you what is true. Our emotions are deceitful and often uncontrollable. (Jeremiah 17:9 )"The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?" We don't know WHY we have these different desires and it is discouraging sometimes. You might see other people who don't have the same issues and think their lives are perfect. But don't look at them, look at Jesus Christ and remember how crazy his life was. Isaiah 26:3 "You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you."..."Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight." (Prov 3:5-6)

Sexuality is something I have really struggled with in my faith but it came down to how I was willing to put another human and my lusts over Jesus. He needs to be my top love and priority. I don’t need to know the mysteries behind His commandments. I just know He is good and wants best for me so I choose to obey and receive His blessing for righteousness not the devils rotten fruits. I realized God will never bless a partner that is of the same sex for me. I want a relationship to be where we can grow in our closeness to Jesus. That can’t happen in a gay relationship. He blessed men and women with special unique gifts that by Gods perfect design is made to be harmonious and who am I to question His creation and knowledge. So i lean not on my own understanding and try to renew my mind with faith.

@@mayholland9474 But that's the thing, you're basing who God is and what he can do for you on your own terms. The Bible says in Luke 16:13 “No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to one, and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.” Being homosexual and loving God cannot exist together. You have to first read the Bible and BELIEVE in God, and choose to live according to his commandments. God never wants us to struggle or feel like we're being forced into something like rejecting ourselves. The fact is however he is a God of authority. He's not a yes man that will concede to everything you want because that's not how love works. Putting your own desires and likes above him is the same as saying you think you are better than Him. God is the one who created us humans, but because of sin entering into the world, God sent his only son Jesus to die for you! He suffered beatings, hardship being ridiculed for being different, and preaching the Gospel by his own people. It is not enough to just think if it's not harmful it's okay. God does not discriminate between sexes, but when it comes to sexual immorality he has clear-cut laws that draw the line. What we think is the right way of living without God's guidance will ultimately lead to our demise, that is a fact.

To add to why homosexuality is wrong it’s simply bc also it stops creation along with homosexuality being wrong when u are in that lifestyle you simply are sinning again if you take upon yourself to have a baby out of wedlock hey I wanted a baby for me etc etc God says no premarital sex no children out of wedlock so if you have a baby with anyone besides your husband or wife you are still sinning God makes no mistakes He made 2 of everything so there is no in between a yes a no a man a woman He made animals the same a male a female so they can create also so we can’t stop creation and play creator because God is the only to Create

This is a powerful message and I am very thankful to heavenly Father for your words. I am currently dealing with my 14 year old who just came out. As a parent learning that your child believes she is bisexual is extremely sad. She has been active in church since she was born so the pain I felt was one of worriness because she doesn't realize there is pain in our lives when one choses to walk this path but what also hurts me is her state of confusion. I love her and have told her that will not change and I will walk with her through this but I do no support her decision as it is clear that man was made for the woman and the woman for the man and God will love her but he doesn't approve her decision.

God did not make them that way 🙄 it's the devil's lie! We should live in all truth which is revealed in the Living Word of God. Many people face many challenges and lies form from the devil. At the end of the day you have to make a choice, do I deny myself and pick my cross and follow Jesus or do I go with lie. Its not only gay people facing this choice but everyone living in sin.

OH WAIT!!!!!! This is rich stuff and something I need to continue to hear. In addition, I have always been impressed with Jackie's ability to let the Lord DELIVER her from sin, and also how she calls attention to all sin; but can I just take a moment to acknowledge how crazy she is for mentioning "Tom" from MySpace?? I was ROFL when she said that!!! I am older than her, but I remember that message; "Hi, this is Tom, welcome to MySpace," or something like it. HILARIOUS!!!

@@Blackcat-mp9cm what is funny is how full of hate you are talking about how we are saying you are going to hell, when no one mentioned you going to hell. We just say that we should change our ways. We are all sinners being gay is not the ultimate sin. Having straight sex outside of marriage is a sin, talking shit about ppl, pride, envy, laziness. We ALL deal with sin one way or another. We just don't like to hear that we have to change that what makes us happy. And the reason God doesn't make us happy is because we don't have a relationship with God and no love for God ether. Just because it makes us uncomfortable or feel bad doesn't mean it's bad.
