So let me give you some information: "Son bakış" is not a love song. In 1980, a military coup took place in Turkey. Erdal Eren, one of the students imprisoned in the coup, was sentenced to death. Erdal was younger than 18 years old. The court made him 18 in order to execute him. They aged him a year in one day so they could hang him. That "last look" is the last look of Erdal Eren. Today we do not know the names of the members of the court and remember them with disgust. But we know Erdal Eren and remember him with his last look.

@@mazigaan Yes. Sezen Aksu is a great artist. I respect her uniquness so much. However, she always plays it safe. When the coup happen, she was sided with the military. She tributed Erdal Eren after no less than a decade. That's not the only instance that she played it safe. She is definetely smart but it is wrong to say that she is very righteous person.

I noticed the question in the subtitle. We read the letter "r", which comes from the end of words, like the Turkish character "ş" (sh). Like the end of the word "finish". Turkish = fini(ş). However, we don't realize that we're pronouncing your trailing "r" like "sh". Turkish learners realize this, and it is a correct assessment. 😉
