Believe it or not, it doesn't have any snags or rocks beyond the bank. This is a large sandflat... perfect for Striper and Halibut. The area where the Lingcod was caught, has kelp beds. No snags is just a little resistance in the kelp areas. Thank you for watching. I have more content ready to upload, GoPro app isn't working properly though.

Yes sir, thank you as well. Apparently the squid are spawning around kelp beds, and the Lings are feeding up during this time, so hopefully more to come.

I only caught 1 halibut out there in 3 trips 😂.. I need a Ling cod .. nice catch. I think I met dude who caught that Ling in Oyster Point...

Sorry for the delayed response, I use a 1/2 ounce VMC jighead on the bottom with a slightly longer swimbait on it.

@@hybrid902000 try it out bro. If they are there....you will catch em. Be sure to cast it out as far as you can, and let the jighead hit the bottom before you retrieve it . When you retrieve it, reel it at a slow-moderate pace. This set-up will "out fish" anyone throwing a single Swimbait. Be sure to watch my Halibut vid... you'll see it in action. I found that "Outgoing Tide" is best for bay fishing. I heard the same for "Incoming", but never had any luck personally.
