Brilliant info! I've been only using copies of a character to rank up that character. I've never fed a character to another character. So my understanding is, the "max level" is 240. In order to raise this "max level" past 240, you need to "socket" one of each character in Limit Break, which increases the "max level" by 5 levels (for each unique character), from 240 to 405? I've been adding one of each character to it as I can afford the slots, and ranking each character up using duplicates of itself (not feeding them to different characters). I hope I am understanding this system correctly. Keep the amazing SF:D content rolling my friend!

I get it but flawed logic. Works when you are spending consistent money on the. Low spenders/f2p players would hit a hard wall so quicky. As you said you need level do push content. Where would the level come from? Waiting on blues? You can't even push content to earn enough blues. And you idle rewards will just be awful . You are 6months ahead of the general player

Nah inverse world, faction towers and events give an insane amount of Blues. You'll see once you get there (a lot of f2p are already there).

Applicable only if events don't exist, ie. Stage event and awakening event. So if you want to push for events then u can use bad A characters to get 6k+ crystals

Well a very sad update: Even if I dupe 2 A+ Thawk, 1 A+ Combat Guile, 1 S+ Combat Guile, 1 S+ Guy, 1 S+ Poison, 1 S+ Blanka, can push through from 19-20 to 19-40, get lucky on the 20 faction tokens and get one more B. zangief to SSS+1 him... Even after aaall of that, I can only go to exactly 1390 points, which feels like a punch I the face right now... Rip f2p

Well I needed to use one A+ Combat Guile (I still have one and one A) as food to finish global awakening in time. I really cant see him at SSS in near future as I have like two other thunder units that will get there first and higher, and Iam out of food, which I have no idea when I will actually get with the amount of tokens for anything you get as F2P (needing TWO S+ units as fodder is now feeling like unachievable goal) This is really an end game I might not even reach or the game wont even be around for that long.

@@PayneBlade yes I did, but even then, I made two thunder SSS units, Makoto is next, Zangief is after because of dupes. THe problem is with inverse world I could unlock one more but would have to do 32 on arctic lake which was impossible for me. All in all, I dont feel that one A+ is going to slow me down in any way really. Not even mentioning how behind are my air and fire with fodder, as I prioritised thunder all the way. For f2p one copy of bison will always be better than one A+ (I still feel blessed I have even finished the global awakening just with one A+ sacrificed, but it was really close to do it only with fodder, but would need like two, three more days of lucky blue crystal pulls, maybe even more)

Thank you for the great video. I did not understand everything when you talked about substitute function. Like I want to get a Fei Long. I can put 2 copy of any A rank character and I will get a Fei Long ? Is there specific type requirement ? And it is the same for Master and Infernal Type besides having to put 3 ? 😊

Only works if you substitute infernal and master units and u can get any unit. So get 1 non infernal/master unit if you trade 2 infernal / master unit or get 1 infernal/master unit if you trade 3 infernal / master units. Mainly used if you have dupe infernal or master units

Haha no cause I have an f2p account. My goal is to give advice on units and team building by testing things at capacity so you guys don't waste resources such as stones for fighting spirit. Progression lies in level, gear, unit stars, and team setup. You'll see when I make team videos. Also remember I am also hitting a wall. I am at points where other whales are 45 levels lower. So I think it's the same concept

I would have to disagree with Payne. Its more cost effective to Feed all your weak A class characters to level up your main team. Becuase its too costly to level up N ranks. It takes 36 B class to get to S+, so that u can start leveling up your A S+. In mid game, your not going to get enough B classes unless u spend money

I disagree there completely because you will get yourself insane amounts of B units once you get to inverse world and faction towers which will give you enough to hit 275-320 as f2p. I have friends and guild mates who are proof of that. It's also an idle game. It has been out for less than a month. You will get events and additional ways to get plethora of B units. There is no need to waste A units who are way harder to acquire

@warlopaka808 inverse world requires full triple S teams. Average F2P does not have enough B class to make 4 Triple S characters, plus 2 SS assists in one month. Yes, on the long run, don't waste ur Class A's. But for the time being, U need to get those SSS'S to get the ball rolling OR wait 6 months to gather enough resources as F2P

It has a preset program that after you get the B units to A it tries to only do specific same units for each faction. Ie always Dan for lightning, Cody for wind and Ken for fire
