Not sure about benefit of taking disinfection cap off, then grabbing alcohol wipes with non sterile gloves and cleaning port

why would you need to flush a saline infusion with a saline infusion

it's to ensure that the IV access is patent/not clogged before starting an infusion

@@1992420256152118 but the saline infusion has the same effect, we never flush before normal saline here, only before we give medication for that reason
