Great stuff guys, another top guest. I have to say, I think you're being a bit harsh about the Indian lunar landing. As if you needed any more proof about the state of the art tech used, none other than the bbc's blue peter team were involved for hours in the design and construction of the craft. No expense was spared; 3/4 of a ton of sticky back plastic, 350 empty fairy liquid bottles, 16 shopping trolleys, 750 empty toilet roll tubes, 200 yellow bin bags and 750 miles of sellotape. I hope you now cut out the jealousy and give them the credit they deserve. Don't let anyone know this but, on the grapevine they recovered a dead clanger and have it in a skip at the back of a betting shop for safe keeping. Ye of little faith ... Baa!

My mum's 83 year old friend is in hospital being operated on for bowel cancer. In the next bed is a 'Transwoman.' Not a very convincing one either, by the sounds of it. Zero medical or surgical effort put in. A transvestite, basically. 'She' is quite elderly 'herself' and is married to a real woman. This is not, in itself, so surprising for Blackpool Victoria Hospital but both my mum and her friend call this person 'She' quite happily to everybody, Me and Eileen's family included. It's not as if either of them even really like 'her' - in fact Eileen says things like, 'She's been screaming bloody murder again. Had me up all night.' so it's not as if this person has won them over with their unique sense of style, élan, wit and panache. Eileen's got an excuse, she's on morphine but when I tackle my mother about it she just says, ''If that's how she wants to be seen, that's her business. I haven't got a problem with it and neither should you.' I just hope that hospital gown doesn't slip on somebody's newly leftist, lliberal eye level at visiting time though, eh? Our Valerie will be ruddy 'Woke' then won't she?
