I thought the same way you did. But after a couple of days of sessions, I ended up in Platinum 1. It’s definitely possible to learn her, just don’t give up!

I haven’t played a fighting game since Tekken 5 and Chun-li was probably one of the most challenging characters I could have picked to learn but it feels incredibly rewarding once you get the hang of her! I got to plat 1 from rookie 5 in about 6 weeks

Bro Best advice i can give you!!! As a Local tournament player and a former Chun main!!. Learn a shoto first if you haven’t already. Master the fundamentals and then once you have go back to Chun. Shes not that much more difficult than your average character. But if you start with her its a learning curve and its harder to master basics because her anti airs feel scarier to whiff her meter management takes more patience because her damage output is low so youll tend to burn yourself out trying to open up your opponent. But with the right approach shes really solid. And the truth is her game-plan is really simple. Youll struggle with her if you believe shes difficult but shes not shes super fun!!! Good luck!
