Daigo really fits the defensive shoto type. I've been saying it since the beginning that for SF6, Guile or Ryu fits his playstyle more than Ken who excels at being hyper aggressive.

Now remember, this is a light balance patch andnsome bug fixes. This isn't the big BIG patch that fixes everyone. There's still a chance Ryu and everyone else MIGHT get extra buffs, whether specific of any changes to the Drive system. Be excited/scared

I'm scared. Mainly due to scrubby masters that still manages to get me off balance. It's frustrating to lose to these guys when I play and win against 1500MR players (I mainly play custom and hub). Even now he's so good at deciding the quality and pace of the game. If the ryu's scrubby, I'm scrubby and they beat me through experience 😂. Worse part is when I do actually play good Ryu's that don't play like shit I still win.

I honestly think he needs a stack of 3 denjin charges. Similar to Juri. That way he could really take advantage of the heavy Hashogeki change that leaves you point blank with the opponent. Heavy hasho and shimmy the opponent into a whiffed throw and still get your big boy punish counter combo with OD Denjin charged Hashogeki

Ryu got buff but he is still below Ken. Whatever he does, Ken still does it better. Ken still has better corner carry, better pressure, better mix up and such. Kinda a shame because once Akuma is release, Ryu is back to being the worst Shoto behide Ken, Luke and Akuma.
