Tokido has been just marginally off in all these big tournaments. Like in EVO he went out with one wrong call that could have gone the other way. More recently his fundamentals have been great but he sometimes gets caught out by drive impacts. He just hasn't quite put it all together, fundamentals, matchup strats and fully integrated system mechanics into his game. But not an easy opponent for anyone.

I had some experience with Motion Capture for video games and gotta admit even though Capcom has always created a seriously fluid and accurate movement animations and overall choreography for SF in the past, (I think they were using MoCap before it was industry standard) They really outdid themselves this time. Ps. You almost saw me as Leon in these new Resident Evil games :)

Wtf was that at 1:30 by mena?? I’ve never seen that. Luke has a $1mil button in cMP but he has a net negative button / special in medium perfect knuckle. It’s just as likely a Luke coasts with cMP and then drops a medium knuckle that costs them everything Crazy to see this still dropped by the best lukes in the world. It would make me less confident in the character despite everything else he has being so solid / good / easy

Everyone drops combos, no matter how good you are it happens. Sometimes you nail a hard frame perfect combo, sometimes you whiff an easy one. The trick is not relying on having to nail the big combo to win.

I think a good way to balance would be to give everyone the same speed and distance cover drive rush. This wouldn't even break the game since everyones corner pressure and corner carry is still unique. Why play Manon, AKI, Lili etc when you can have JP, Ken, Luke, Juri who need less work and have amazing drive rush/corner carry...

@@gabrielbetas5162 this is 100% bullshit since Angry Bird plays on a regular stick and keeps clapping everyone's ass. And Tokido's reaction to DI for example doesn't seem better. For the combos it actually looks less effective. I don't think i've ever saw Tokido missed combos with Gouki on SFIV, and definitely not this much on the same tournament. It has advantages but it looks vastly overrated to me.
