Lights got a universal 20% damage scaling in S2 and many conversions with Gief use lp and lk. His medium and heavy buttons do more damage and take more drive gauge on block to compensate for that. It's likely his optimal routes will change, but for now Itazan is pretty much still playing S1 Gief.
