The horse was definitely a choice to add to his cut scenes... Not sure I like Bison to be honest. Loving the new walk animation, SFV looked weird with folded arms. He has slow and floaty animations. Nothing feels like it connects when he hits. His throw being the biggest example. Glad he is in the game now though!

M.bison seems very weak in alot of areas that matter in the sf 6 meta. For starters, no real corner carry unless you drain all of his meter. No consistent oki unless you gamble with scissor kick or head stomp. Heavy punch which is his strongest button has less pushback on block. Psycho mine gives too much pushback on hit. Heavily relies on Meter to get the party started. Corner pressure is weak since most of his scissor kicks are negative on block except for the heavy version. For the first time since like Alpha 2, Bison is not one of the strongest characters in the game.

If they were going to pick a character for broad fame alone, they would've picked Sakura. Bison was likely chosen because he fills a niche in SF6's roster that isn't covered yet while also being immediately recognizable and popular enough. I would've preferred an Alpha character like Rolento or something, but we gets what we gets. Also, lol 'actual SF fans.' Bro if you like something enough to follow it with some sort of regularity, you're a real fan. It doesn't matter if you actively play, care about the game's meta or its lore or any of that. Bison is by far on of the most recognizable fighting game characters of all time... he was in all variations of Street Fighter 2...he was in all variations of Street Fighter Alpha...he was in all variations of Street Fighter EX he was in street fighter 4... he was in three of the Marvel versus Capcom games.. he was in both of the Capcom versus SNK games including the snk vs capcom game made by snk and he was in street fighter 5...
