Bison is balanced. His OP damage is locked behind a tricky setup. At lower levels, people will complain about Scissor Kicks like they complained last generation about Psycho Axe. But high level play is where it counts. Obviously, a strong character, maybe even Top 5, but not broken.

I don’t know it’s like the only enjoyment they have in life is shutting down any discourse about a character that came out recently. I’ll be a functioning member of society that actually answers your question: I don’t know about pay to win, but he more than makes up for his lackluster defense with his crazy damage and pressure from his psycho mine and scissor kick special which can practically be used as a poking normal move with how safe it is.

​@level9drow856 Everyone is a smartass online, unfortunately. As for Lordt Bipson, I don't think there's any debating that he's strong, but I think he still has some weaknesses that make him less than pay to win: No OD reversal is a big deficit in this game; his buttons that convert are fairly stubby and his heavies are on the slower side; his dedicated AAs being psycho crusher and cr hp are also slower on start-up (he does have his air to air tc but that requires some situational awareness); his really obscene damage is also rather strictly situational as you have around 5 seconds to land a hit on an opponent once you plant a mine.
