yea I like delay cr mk on wake up as juri as some people simmy all day. Calling out an option they felt was safe and going in to CA feels really nice. I will say with proper spacing, it can still whiff you its something i learn to be more careful with. I also done some silly stuff like walk up cr mk if i feel they are trying to space it a bit but I dont really recommend that one inless you are really sure they are going to shimmy

I am so much worse at counter DI in the corner than in midscreen for some reason.

Maybe because in the corner they cancel it from a button while you are under pressure and mid screen they often yolo it while you weren’t doing anything? Could be it

It may be because of the amount of mental stack in the corner due to ur disadvantage makes reacting to stuff rly tough! Just gotta train yourself to hit the button when you see red that’s how I manage it

Thank you for the teaching! I still dont understand one thing about the delay low tech: Can you explain when to push the button for the low kick? In the moment after i got hit the first time? Becuase if i just hold it, and she walks back to shimmy, my low dosent get out.

Nice to hear! You block for a few frames after the “tick” and then press the cmk. Just like you delay throw tech, its about the same timing. It beats shimmy, is safe against frame traps and usually loses to neutral jumps and against players who deliberately use delayed buttons on offense (these are only top players, no one does that below master). Try it the same way as I did in the video. So you can record the dummy to do 3 lights and record it to do 1 light and walk back into a heavy and practise the delay timing.

That ks to that i established myself in higher platinum and recemtly I'm even capable to stand and, sometimes even win, against diamond and master players in the BH.

I struggle with this too. I've spent so much time drilling delay teching in training mode, but in the pressure of an actual match all my training goes out the window and I can never get the timing right.

You only see Cr MKs against shimmies from Masters with >1600 MR so don't try to make it look like it's an obvious thing to do.
