great. but -0.875kN in BMD part is wrong. it has to be = 1 kN. using basic logic you can find that the point where SFD crosses x axis (y=0), BMD will either have MAXIMA or MINIMA. -0.875kN is neither. but 1kN is a maxima.

Your answer to RA and RB is correct but your method is wrong. You have to take moment about a support. Cant just take any point. Also your conventions are wrong too. Moments are negative for anticlockwise and positive for clockwise. Try calculating reactions at point RA and then do the moment calculations. You just confusing everyone into thinking you've used the right conventions for moments.

No. It can be positive or negative, then anticlockwise will be negative or positive respectively. Just take clockwise = anticlockwise, when you move across equal sign one of them will be negative
