We got Rb as positive. But why did u took it as negative in sf diagram?

RA and RB are both positive. But sign of Shear force does not depend on sign of RA & RB. If at any section, LHS force upward and RHS force downward then SF is POSITIVE, and vice versa. It is the common sign convention of Shear force. see the first video of this play list where I have discussed about sign convention.

You may draw upward curve if you take upward positive as your sign convention.

not universal. For example, Staad pro uses the opposite convention. It's up to you which one you use.

I have taken downward positive as my sign convention. Staadpro software also takes same sign convention as this one.

There is actually no hard and fast rule to choose the side.. You can draw in any side as per your convention. You have to correctly give the sign (positive or negative).
