Shear force is positive . Reaction vertical force at A is upward equivalent to total downward load due to UVL so SFD comes as positive .

CAN ANYONE HERE SAY PRACTICAL EXAMPLE OF UVL............point load means my finger tip on beam.........udl means my fist on the beam applying force which distributes load to a certain distance...................or simply saying..........................................in point load case we unfasten a bolt with spanner.....if we need to apply udl on the bolt we insert a pipe on to it............................................................now what is UVL?

First off all BMD comes after SFD . ... Examiner will give 0 if we draw 1st BMD and then SFD
