I guess a big portion of hate for Twelve is people not being able to finish arcade with him and figuring "oh, well, if I can't beat single player, there's no way I can go to multiplayer". And the thing is, you can't play single player with Twelve properly, since his whole point is unpredictability and mind games. And you just can't really bait and play mind games with the CPU.

Man i really love this video, it's very well made and look very good considering the date that it was made, it's very informative, entertaining, and the sections and ''story'' are just genious, also the music that makes me dance. What i like the most is that the video tells you that you SHOULD take more SA2. 90% of the time when Twelve is picked, they use SA1, the last 10% is just X.C.O.P.Y. I can understand why to avoid SA2 becouse of how hard is to use properly, but i will still say that X.F.L.A.T is too UNDERRATED, becouse how much you can cover, and it also solves one of the big complains about Twelve, DAMAGE. Now don't get me wrong, you do damage with SA1, but most of the time you deal less than it's capable of, becouse you mostly have to confirm it, you find the most damage on SA1 if you combo it with jumping roundhouse + mk. Another thing about SA1, is that you can confirm it with UOH but ONLY if you hit a crouched opponent at tip range, you can't confirm it on standing oponents. Accepting the fact of how hard it is, with X.F.L.A.T, you can be more threathening if you do a single parry, becouse how much damage you can pull of with Mk + instant SA2. you can juggle into SA2 reset with variable timing. I'm Saying SA2 is perfect for twelve becouse ithe character involves mind games, and you can use the examples of SA2 in the video + more setups, so that means you could take SA2 in most matchups if you are really good at it, with some exceptions like Ryu with Dejin or Shinku Hadoken or Urien, in those cases you take SA1 to avoid those setups. We all know X.C.O.P.Y is not that good, but it's useful in certain matchups like Elena due to how much she counters you, or Akuma, since most of his combos are meterless anyway. Other examples of good to pick SA3 moments are against: Yang, Yun, Q and Twelve mirror match.

I can't really explain it concisely without droning on for a paragraph or two, but basically there's *something* about Twelve's throwing that makes him almost always win a throw conflict. If there's any question of whose throw is going to connect, and both players are in range, it's always Twelve. Post your question on SRK, I'll come back to the forum and answer it in more detail if I can. N

Just as an addition. You don't need to do an extended 360 to get the mk xx sa2. You can simply mk and do 2xqcf. I might go slightly higher on the first qcf but this works for me. So if you're having trouble with mk xx sa2 just try it like normal, the sjc will come out as part of the 2xqcf.

I first saw this video 7~8 years ago... And it is still good today, not only the content, but the entire video as well. Btw, there's a reason to choose SA2 over SA1? The SA1 seems really useful, it's an excellent finisher in any combo and a decent AA as well.

I Really like Twelve, relying on your normals instead of combos is hard, specially with the parry system, and thats why i like it. My favorite super is X.F.L.A.T i really want to master it becouse X.N.D.L isn't the only super he has, but i play on keyboard.... Sometimes i can pull off Standing MK-Jump Cancel and Super, but i don't know how to do IAD MK (whiff) jump cancel and Super, hopefully its not impossible on keyboard. :C

the new ones don't suck, it's just more difficult to attain a good level with these characters. Sure, it's easier with Ken or Chun-Li or GeneiJi.. I mean Yun, Q can't mp-->hp--> lp shoryu at will but he still has good moves; it's a different gameplay for each character. Q = zoning, 12 = hit & run, ken = offense etc.
