Everything sucks and then the Dempsey and Bernard Fanning cover one of your all time favourites and the joy is total. Can't stop smiling. Thank you for this, killer version

I remember lockdown, as no doubt you do also. 3 kids home schooling yadda yadda. My Sydney work colleague sent this to me on a Friday arvo. Being a muso, not at their level, I appreciated the brilliance and emotion in this. It gave me the best pump up. Two of my favourites of all time. I watch it often with happiness and enjoyment. Thanks Paul, Bern and my Sydney friend.

Reconfirms my view that Paul Dempsey is one of the most underrated Aussie musicians of all time. Vocals are sublime and Bernard as good as ever. A sensational performance many would underestimate how good you have to be to pull this off. Loved it!

Name anyone who would have the balls to attempt this song let alone with one acoustic guitar. Paul Dempsey is a National Treasure I can’t think of anyone who has the vocal range, control and composure to sing this part and pull it off while also playing the guitar and he’s a bonafide lead guitarist to boot throw in a brilliant songwriter while we’re here. Hats of to Bernie too. Amazing bloody amazing!!!

Around 2000 I was working in a suburb called Paddington, and Bernard asked me the time as I was waiting at a bus stop. He came out of a cafe called sassafras….and 22 years later i still remember that day clear as a blue sky! That’s the impact music has! Thanks fellas, this is so incredible words just can’t do it justice 💪😎

2 bloody brilliant musicians covering one bloody brilliant song by 2 bloody brilliant musicians. Freaking nailed it. Paul you had hints of Freddie in your tone, and Bernard you need a phone call from Mike Garson to be singing with them for the ongoing ‘A Bowie Celebration Alumni Tour’ ...which is a brilliant show by the way. It’s 5:20 in the afternoon on a Friday here in Brisbane. My day won’t get any better after hearing this. 💞👩🎤👨🎤
