That’s cruel. My mum did the same. She told me “a 12 year old boy” that my kitten had run away and after 3 days of frantic searching of the neighbourhood, she decided to tell me that it had been run over by a car and my step dad found the body. I found the truth out years later, she actually had my step father take it to the pound because she hated it. She still doesn’t know that I know!

Yeah it's my introvert theme song today!! The whole smiling to himself with the world falling apart around him is a very relatable introvert thing, and it works in reverse like having an internal apocalypse while extroverts are laughing and singing. Fascinating. Ohhhh I just realised this scene is like the book Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert Heinlein (which Dr Manhattan from Watchmen was clearly influenced by, in my view). Like I can see why people think introverts have a superiority complex, and the ingredients are definitely there, but it's because we're trying to hold ourselves together amidst the storm. It's so funny how age has such a big impact on how you connect with music. I remember being in my early teens when Something For Kate started to become really big in Australian music, and at the time enjoyed the music and certainly appreciated how good a singer he was, but never really connected to the lyrics. Fast forward two decades and the sentiment and story within the music has a much bigger impact on me now than it ever did before. It's been a really pleasant experience going back and rediscovering a band all over again.

"I'll cry tonight" He felt her hardened hand, and knew that it was hers no more. Looked beyond those half-dead eyes, faded shadows all he saw. His mind ablaze with questions, feelings fighting for the right; To escape a world of pain, unseen forces them to fight. Picture books of memories, pages pounding in his head. His stomach hadn't realised that she was even dead. Now thoughts of how, tomorrows will affect his yesterdays, Fluid frightened feelings began to form and then to maze. Looking now upon what remains, of someone he adored. No way of saying his good-bye's, a pain that feels ignored. By those that leave the trapped behind, free flying to their fate; Without our life's thoughts of sadness, grief, pain or even hate. "I'll cry tonight", he whispered as he walked out of the room. He hates it when this world of his decides to use the broom. Sore thoughts of how, tomorrows will affect his yesterdays, Fluid fighting feelings began to form and then to maze. DrB

Temporary Temporal The Preamble of the Australian Constitution states that we are under the sovereignty of the Lord's Spiritual and the lord's Temporal / Templar. Keening for the Lord's Temporal / Templar Sovereign / s of Australia, shamrock as the constitutional crisis calling goes on for more than 30 years. As Sir John Forrest, and his Highgate church with Anglican Cathedral, St Andrews, Bell and the only silver bell of St Augustine moved to Bayswater. Silver bells and cockle shells. Western Australia's first premier was a Sir, A knight, a Templar, then became Lord John Forrest. Peerage was upon him. Baron.? Thus once a Lord Templar it is only logical thinking with our own constitutional preamble words that he was Sovereign or king.. or was that another Temporal / Templar lord? "Under the sovereignty of the lord's Temporal /templar and Lords Spiritual" says the preamble to the Australian Constitution. Pope Benedict XVI. Joseph Ratsinger allowed the return of the Knights Templar so we as Australians can finally be rid of them. www.reuters.com/article/us-vatican-templars-idUSL093422320071012 Knights Templar win heresy reprieve after 700 years By Philip Pullella VATICAN CITY (Reuters) - The Knights Templar, the medieval Christian military order accused of heresy and sexual misconduct, will soon be partly rehabilitated when the Vatican publishes trial documents it had closely guarded for 700 years. The Keening poem by Marie E. J. Pitt We are the women and children Of the men that mined for gold: Heavy are we with sorrow, Heavy as heart can hold; Galled are we with injustice, Sick to the soul of loss - Husbands and sons and brothers Slain for the yellow dross! We are the women and children Of the men that died like sheep, “Stoping” the stubborn matrix, Piling the mullock heap, Stifling in torrid “rises,” Stumbling with stupid tread Along the Vale of the Shadow To the thud of the stamper-head! We are the women and children Of the miners that delved below Main-shaft and winze and crosscut - Opening the silly “show.” Look at us! Yea, in our faces! God! Are ye not ashamed In the sight of your godless fellows Of the men ye have killed and maimed? They moiled like gnomes in the “faces,” They choked in the “’fracteur” fumes, And your dividends paved the pathways That led to their early tombs. With Death in the sleepless night-shifts They diced for the prize ye drew; And the Devil loaded the pieces - But the stakes were held by you! Ye were the lords of Labor; They were the slaves of Need. Homes had they for the keeping, Children to clothe and feed! Ye paid them currency wages - Shall it stand to your souls for shrift That ye bought them in open market For “seven-and-six a shift?” Wise in your generation, Cunning are ye in your day! But ’ware of the stealthy vengeance That never your wealth shall stay! They won it - yea, with their life-blood; Ye laughed at the sacrifice; But by every drop of your spilling We shall hold you to pay the price! Ye have sown the wind, to your sorrow; Ye have sown by the coward’s code, Where the glimmering candles gutter, And the rock-drill bites on the lode! Ye have sown to the jangle of stampers, To the brawl of the Stock Exchange, And your children shall reap the whirlwind On the terms that the gods arrange. And ye, who counsel the nation, Statesmen who rule the State! Foolish are ye in your weakness, Wise are we in our hate! Traitors and false that pander To the spillers of human life, Slaying with swords of silence Who dared not slay with the knife! And ye of the House of Pilate, Ye who gibber of Christ At the foot of the golden crosses Where the sons of men are triced! Ye who whimper of patience, Who slay with a loose-lipped lie At the word of the fat blasphemers Whose poppet-heads mock the sky! We are the women and children Of the men that ye mowed like wheat; Some of us slave for a pittance - Some of us walk the street; Bodies and souls, ye have scourged us; Ye have winnowed us flesh from bone: But, by the God ye have flouted, We will come again for our own! There’s a common misconception that Something For Kate lead singer, Paul Dempsey, was an Easter Island statue who never smiled. Turns out that this is not entirely true, since he does actually smile for a second in the video for probably their biggest hit, “Monsters.” The distinct possibility that he’s only smiling because Armageddon has arrived and he’s walking directly towards something that’s about to wipe out the human race is irrelevant. Paul Dempsey is smiling. Which proves one thing; he’s one of those people who should probably never smile. It just doesn’t look right. Paul Dempsey is smiling at the apocalypse because he’s a proud misanthropist; he wishes he was two hundred thousand years younger, so that he could excuse himself from humankind. Fair enough really. “Monsters” is an 8.
