Probably one of the greatest Australian singles ever...dynamic, rockin', balladic, symphonic AND tear-inducing all in one? C'mon.... 🔥
@tonywethereld74294 жыл бұрын
It didn't induce a tear from me Candyflip. Found it to be somewhat 'so-so' and unmemorable. Australia has produced truly great tunes but this one, and whilst reasonable it probably isn't going to rate that highly I suspect. Perhaps try some of the psychedelic OZ stuff from between 1998 or so and 2010 and there are some wonderful examples of great tunes, and indeed from the 60's onwards we have produced some memorable tunes that seem to stand the test of time. This one is hardly likely to do that...

Yeah, I agree. It's obviously not as broadly known as a lot of its "peers," but I rate it very high, too.

Great song and the music video cleverly done. I liked it when it first came out but appreciate it more listening again 20 years later.

I hope people realise how special this song is. Pure artistry from another dimension and the video depicts this phenomenon perfectly. An absolute masterpiece and that symphony is the bridge is just so uplifting and the message reveals an astonishing TRUTH 💕

Always thought this was an amazing song, among some of the best this talented songwriter has given to the world, in three dimensions and probably four including time. Well worth listening to the emotional content as well as the philosophy. From the outer side of the tracks, sort of still am trying to pay attention, inspirational guitar and music. More power to you guys, best regards, ok

I don't normally write replies on KZbin comments, but I have to make an exception. Seriously. You are full blown hammer head. The mystery is you don't understand what the title means and how the music video perfectly encapsulates that. But most shockingly, if you're watching this and you remember the song, then you are old enough to know the answer to the previous...🤦♂️
