Bhabajeet is Assamese like me. One big reason Assamese defeated Mughals in all the wars is because Hindus and Muslims were together. Assamese muslim warriors were few but they took a big role in guerilla war. Bagh Hazarika (aka Ismail Siddique) is the best known person along with the general Lachit Barphukan leading the army in the 1670AD war. Bagh Hazarika is still in the folklore of Assam along with Lachit and many others. Skits are still made in name Bagh Hazarika(Ismail Siddiqui). Hazarika surname came from Hazar - one who is charge of one thousand soldiers(ek Hazar soldiers).
