+Xavier Productions Fucking wish. The only connection is that Blaze is in both games, but that's it. In one game, she was born in Sonic's world in the post-apocalyptic world dominated by Iblis, is Silver's companion and HAS been for some years prior to the game, and ceases to be at the end of Silver's story. In another, she's a Princess from another world that pushed people away with powers initially considered a curse until Sonic, Tails, and Amy showed her friendship can be a good thing and that her flames can be used to protect people. See, the Venn Diagram doesn't have anything in the "both" section except "Blaze". No way they could be connected. If '06 happens before Rush, then unless shadow759's interpretation is right, wouldn't Blaze's priority uno in Silver's world be the Sol Emeralds, not helping Silver with Iblis? If Rush happens before '06, why don't Sonic and Blaze recognize each other when they meet towards the end of Silver's story, and why isn't Blaze sicking her Burning form on everyone? See the issue?

Okay, I know you won't reply to this, but let me try and piece this together. Originally, Blaze was born as a child in the unaltered future ruined by Iblis. She had somehow been born with Iblis's power, and used this to become strong. Dr. Eggman, or at least someone who resembled him, was her adoptive father, and used the surviving notes on the Chaos Emeralds to artificially make the Sol Emeralds. She fell in with Silver, and the two became close, and began fighting Iblis together. Blaze lost hope a long time prior to Mephilis's appearance, with fighting Iblis just being Blaze going through the motions. Then the events of Sonic '06 occur. The power of the Chaos Emeralds blasted her and the Sol Emeralds into an alternative timeline and planet where she was regressed into a child, but the powers of Iblis that rested with her remained. This power caused her to be considered one of the royal family's children, and she unintentionally pushed people away with his power, calling it a curse. Then, starting from Sonic Rush, the events of the timeline where Iblis never happened begin. And now she's being forced to choose one set of memories by that Time Eater looking motherfucker, selecting one means forgetting the other, and with one set of memories comes one best friend/lover that will be forgotten if chosen as well. It's still better than the whole "Basically, everyone got, like, amnesia" excuse Sonic Team used when asked to explain how Blaze's story was completely different in '06 when stacked next to Rush's story for her. And I ESPECIALLY like the touch of Blaze kissing (or trying to kiss) Sonic before they're forced apart since a kiss is most likely what occurred between them in the games. Really love this, and I think this is my new headcanon for Blaze's story now. Can't wait for Reminiscent 12.

Alright, catching up on stuff I missed! So let's start with the positive, because there's quite a bit. First off your writing has obviously improved, with a plot that kept going at a steady clip that really filled out Blaze's story in 06. I want to highlight the scene where Blaze and Silver are talking at the docks because it sort centralizes everything done right in this movie. It beautifully expands on, more than anything, Silver and Blazes relationship. It was so bare bones in 06, but here they joke, they make fun of each other, they chat like real friends, as opposed to only ever talking about plot relevant details. More than that, it felt genuine, I actually felt Blaze and Silver's relationship, saw their disagreements and tensions, as well as the side that genuinely cares for the other. Also, senior Big with his words of wisdom. Your animation jas also been steadily improving, so good work there. Now then, there are a handful of negatives as well. Now as far as small things go, how do Blaze and Silver know about the soul emeralds? Is that explained in something else? Did I miss something? I thought they were unique to the soul dimension. I'm going to assume there is something I've missed. Also, and this is a big one, once we hit the Rush stuff it all... kind of fell a part. Most of it was fine, I like how it was intercut with the credits and the recreation of Rush and Rush Adventures cutscenes were cool. No, my issue comes with the scene with Blaze on the throne dropping a bunch of character exposition. Up until thar point you did a good job showing Blazes personality through her interaction with others and her actions in general. However at this scene you just sort of have her spell out how she's untrusting and insecure, it was just a really awkward pace breaker and I feel there were better ways to show that, as oppose to just telling the audience that info. And then there's the other time with Amy getting mad at Cream where she once again tells the audience how she feels. You could've had her just give a little smile as they fight. Of course immediately after you have the scenes with Blaze and Sonic fighting, as well as their farewell... both of them, both of which you handled very well. My issues mostly stem from just hoe it disrupts the good pace you had going before. The part eith Blaze's innermonologue jn the throne room could probably have been cut in half, with more visual cues, maybe even just Blaze remembering some momenrs of her life where she's seen not trusting people. Despite the negatives, this was very well done, and I applaud you on the good work.

Woot! This whole time I was wondering if you will ever talk about this movie. xD Thank you so much yeah that's what my wife and I mostly were aiming for Silver And Blaze to show off their friendship. Because in Sonic 06 they said they been together for a long time but it never feels that way. Funny enough this was written to be a short thing but as I kept writing with my wife it was one of those "Eh let's make it into a movie" Now on those negatives lol. Yeah the whole sole emeralds thing was going to be explained much more in details with a video called "Blaze Origin" however the Kid Blaze model is not 100% to my liking just yet so it's delayed until the fixes are done. I did however want to state this is a fact in my world that the sole emeralds were made by timeline one Eggman at some point in the future when he was rising Blaze as a child" Then how is the sole emerald in another world would have also shown that fact too. So I will say.. Yeah maybe if I did spend some time talking about it in the movie but much like Silver said "Ok got it let's just do our job" Yeah I agree on the thorn room scene even when I made it.. (Timeline 3) I do blame myself I was losing my patience (details I can not say here) but let's say I waited a very long time for some stuff that I needed. XD Like I waited for Queen Blaze look for a long time when the movie started and I was nearly done with the movie and finally got it when it almost hit the point of no longer mattering but I still wanted to show Blaze new life and I really wanted to be done with this movie because I didn't want it to be delayed yet again to be 6 months, that I just sorta did rush it (no pun) on that part because I had other things in mind for that scene but lack of time and the movie already did so much it felt unneeded. There was that one flash back a bit to show the dark brotherhood was around Blaze as a child scared then again yes it could have been told better. Yeah there is times I think I follow rush Blaze a bit too much here and there and should have changed her (even if it's her new life) a bit to my own style. Because in game Blaze does talk to herself a.lot and talk like that... But doesn't mean I should have followed it like that so I agree. I always loved your plots and eveything you do to make the story make sense and yet include all the game stories and plots to fit into one main story. Man you're an inspiration, great stories, awesome animation I even liked the characters personalities, and as some people said this WAY better than 06 story... that's just filled with plotholes and lets not go there. There are a lot of cameos in this movie. In addition to Mordecai I saw Ralph, Vanellope, May, Ganon, a lion that resembles Kodos from the Archie Comics, Helmaroc King, and Ix. There are probably more.

It's great that you took a cover of Stronger Than You for your cartoon. I thought, and realized that Blaze and Garnet have a lot in common: 1) Violet-red female leaders (the Kingdom of Sol and the rebel group Crystal Gems); 2) Both are stoic in character, somewhat cold and aloof, but for different reasons; 3) Both have a soft and caring side to a child (Cream, Marine and Steven); 3) They are associated with fire and precious stones (Sol Emeralds and gems as the foundations of life); 4) Both disintegrated into particles in front of their loved ones (Silver and Steven) to protect them from an enemy that also looked like fire (Iblis and Jasper); 5) In the end, Blaze and Garnet in the culmination unleash their power to the maximum and kick the ass of the antagonists with the power of love or friendship! So Fantastic! I loved the Sonic Rush series as a kid, they were my favourite games and made me love Sonic so it was great seeing them "brought to life" like that! I love Blaze The Cat, she is a beautiful and strong girl in the world of Sonic the Hedgehog. She shouldn't be underestimated and she's a truly interesting character. Well, you should be proud to know that all that time didn't go to waste. This movie was awesome. Pretty much everyone's character was better here than in Sonic '06 (When I mean pretty much everyone I mean characters that were fleshed out at least a little, ie. not Shadow, ironically). I liked how you included those short scene recreations from the Sonic Rush games, too.

Very good! Exceptional! Outstanding! I love that some scenes in 06 and Rush (Adventure) could finally be remade by an animator who is actually competent (sorry SEGA). And I can completely buy that Blaze knows Chaos Control since she uses something that resembles it in the first scene she appears in (in Sonic's story anyways). The only continuity error is how Blaze recognizes Sonic when Silver explains that he saw a blue hedgehog in the Chaos Emerald. Yet Blaze hadn't met Sonic yet. Though I chalk that up to you quoting some of SEGA's worse writing.
