This is a culmination of many months of work from a lot of very talented people, Frontline! I don't even care if the update makes it into tf2, this piece alone is easily one of the most fleshed-out, funny, and original animations I have ever seen. I love the cartoonish tf2 take on the world wars, and the scenes flow together brilliantly.

Indeed it does! Since TF2 in canon takes place in the 20th century; somewhere around the 50's. And having a WW1-WW2 related update just gives it that charm. To be honest, I'd prefer frontline over iron gaunlet and mayann anyday!

Not all updates were just cosmetics being introduced. If more weapons were to be added they would have to buff and nerf weapons and their effects on classes to balance gameplay.

7 years later and it's still incredible, even the smaller details like at the beginning with Sniper getting headshot in the background, Demoman peeking behind the corner while reloading, a Soldier parachuting in the background, another Soldier jumping out of the falling piece of building, the Scout running past engineer and sniper only to be blown up by Demo and Pyro along with a Heavy and Spy, the last plane before the title dropping the bomb, how there are no more blue team members on the battlefield after the dynamite avoiding the 'nuke', just small things like that.

Elbow i watched a video of uncle Dane's and it was him visiting valve, and he walked into the Devs playing on a jungle map, i know it doesn't mean that front line won't be added but i mean come on, it's not fair on the people who spent so much time and effort since the start of January in 2015 get screwed over sideways because valve gave mayaan a leg up, or who knows maybe mayaan got lucky, but either way it still isn't fair, maybe valve might say during the mayaan update there are no random critical hits
