Ah, Sniper... the class everybody loves to play as and hates to play against. But no matter how good you are in this game, there is always those days where everything seems to not work the way you intended. This BLU Sniper in particular, "shouldn't have even gotten outta bed".

Friendlies are such easy targets but I can never bring myself to kill one. Even if I'm doing a contract involving getting kills, I don't kill friendlies. Only exception was when a friendly on the enemy team quite literally offered to let me kill them for my contract. That guy was cool.

​​​@@moonlitlakeThat's understandable. But there is one particular situation where killing a friendly is more than fine imo. Soundsmith even showed the situation in his video about them and tryhards. If you're having a 1v1 with another guy and you're probably about to win, only for a hoovy of your own team to toss him a sandwich, i'll fucking ask my team to kick him for *actually* being a fuckin nuisance. Technically, all friendlies are, since all of this is griefing. (But Valve added these taunts anyway, so, i think they couldn't give much of a fuck about it). But there's a difference between being out of the way, and directly affecting a 1v1 I'm a part of. If a situation like that happened and I was getting the sandwich, while I should've probably been the one to die, i'll probably killbind to give the point to the other guy, if I can. No, like, I'm serious.. To all friendlies who does this, you're pieces of shit. I'm fine with them if they're all being silly and fun. But purposely toss a sandwich in a 1v1 and see how fast I pull out the vote menu if you're in my team. I'm a friendly tryhard, so I can see both sides. But I have no interest in friendlies who are actually being problematic.. It's pretty rare, but if Sound actually caught a situation like that before, then it's not completely farfetched to think that others does that too.

as a sniper main, this is usually how my first game of the day goes, my brain has to for some reason get used to playing the game again before i actually gain my skill back. (only actual reason i can think of to explain this is it might be bc i usually draw/write for about 4 hours straight before i start playing a game of tf2, turning my brain to mush and making my hands cramped in my usal writing/drawing position, making my hands stiff. doesnt help that i tend to grip the pencil as tight as i possibly can cramping my hand further. its kinda hard for me not to, its a bit of a bad habit tbh 😭)

I like the detail of the sniper player avoiding hoovies. One time I found a Hoovy in the sewer and had to shoot around him with a compound to get a soldier and a spy. Was satisfying, thanked him, and moved on lol. Some people try to hide behind hoovies (or disguise themselves as hoovies) to avoid getting shot but it’s always satisfying to get around that and kill them. It’s like a whole new challenge. With greater stakes.
