The Heat-Ray effect was a simple model I made. An orange, illuminating, 2D plane with a joint at each end allowing me to stretch and scale it to my needs.

This isn't a game. This is a fan-made animation with audio from an actual game where you can play as the Martians or the Humans in The War of The Worlds. Here, this is the video that the audio comes from.
