[SFM] Minos Prime

"Thy punishment....is death!"
I wanted to reanimate the Minos Prime speech ever since I first played P-1, Stephan Weyte's voice acting super good, and I never get tired of listening to it. The reason why I didn't animate it sooner is because Minos Prime model didn't exist for SFM, and I'm clueless about porting it, but it very recently surfaced on the workshop and I immediately started making this. (I also mixed in some gameplay if it wasn't obvious)

I don't know... The hunched pose shows it preparing itself and acting slightly defensive. Being upright gives off a more 'apex predator' vibe. But that's just my two bits.

This is amazing, I practically love the seamless transition of SFM to in-game footage. You have very clear talent. whilst your cinematography and animation is amazing, one piece of advice I could give is that it could be improved to make the SFM fighting a bit faster and with more impact. Perhaps instead of actual motion, simply have Minos sort of teleport and use cinematic trickery and/or particles to make it look like motion. Maybe add screen shake to impacts. However, I'm going to make the assumption that accurate particle affects are not available as in the SFM section, their is little used. Of course I wouldn't recommend redoing the animation, just some things I think could be improved going forward. Great work all together.

this is really good with transitions and animation, the only problem i had is the beginning when minos falls out of the flesh prison it looks a little unpolished and has no feedback on when exactly he begins falling that could be fixed with wind effects around the edge of the screen or a semi shaky camera but i really liked the video especially how seamlessly the transition from sfm to gameplay happens
