Another video of yours has saved my sanity! I spent 2 hours crying yesterday in frustration due to my AuDHD brain not grasping simple concepts and I wanted just to make something appear without blading, etc. Nothing told me how to do it. Sat down for 10 minutes today and watched your video and it was EXACTLY what I needed! Nice approach to teaching others that have issues with grasping concepts. Thank you!

for those who have been unable to find the AnimationSet for the cloaking it does not appear when you have "show hierarchy" enabled in the animation set editor so right click in the animation set editor and disable it to see the cloak option

Cool fact. You can go into the element viewer of a model, right click the model name, select, "add IllumPostDrag" then find it towards the bottom of their model materials, right click, set element, Dme Drag, and now you have darker models that respond more cinematically with light

Hey Jimer, I'm having a bit of a problem here. When I click the "Create AnimationSet for Element" button, the option disappears as it should, but the actual animation set doesn't appear. Any ideas on what could be causing this, or how to fix it? Thanks anyway!

General Question: Does this work for player recordings? Specific Question: I recorded a spy earlier and it seems that his cloakfactor is greyed out, presumably because the recording animated it. Any idea how to manually adjust the cloak animation to my own liking?

If I'm not mistaken, adding $cloakpassenabled "1" to a material's .VMT file will allow you to cloak it. I have yet to test it, but that's what I'm led to believe from reading the VALVe Developer Community Wiki.

EndrFX to add a disguise effect, go right click the plus on the top left then click, "Create Animation Set For New Particle System", after that click the box that says, Browse then, look and you'll eventually find the disguise fx.

Hey! i found a fix, but its kinda long i went to game mode (press F11) then go back into normal mode, then changed the cloak factor. it worked P.S. make sure you're looking at whats behind your cloaked character
