Hey everyone! I just wanted to say, thank you for all the love on the last video! I never expected it to blow up like that! I made this one a bit longer as I normally do 1 minute vids as a bit of a thank you! I make new animations every week and have alot of content on the way including remastered upload's of Reaper and Sombra's Den, plus a new short staring Junker Queen next week. The theory of her blinking out of timelines is terrifying. She doesn’t remember the stories being told nor does she remember Illari (or the “new faces” she’s seeing everyday) because she’s not our tracer, or rather, she’s an older version that somehow got rebooted after a blink went wrong, further implied that her blinks do in fact go wrong because of the “underwear mishaps”. Our tracer was erased after one wrong blink.

It would be pretty crazy if she was an alternate timeline version of Oxton who didn't meet any of the characters in OverWatch 2 (save for Sojourn of course), so she's just now finding out about all of these new faces and missions that she's never seen before, and it makes her feel like she's drifting. That would also imply that our actual Tracer is either in a completely different universe, or blinked out of time itself and no longer exists.

If Overwatch ever created like a true story campaign I feel like that would be a perfect one to follow, a great way to introduce new characters while having them being "established" members of Overwatch and literally has perfect way to "reset" Tracer so we can level her up in the campaign, the lil device she wears gets damaged mid blink. Even better if she blinks to another universe where Tracer never existed because they never managed to save her the first time when the jet sent her spiraling through time so now they all see her as like a ghost of someone they couldn't save, comeback to haunt them.

The idea that Tracer could be in a different timeline from her original one is a really fun concept, both for psychological horror and for possibly setting up a new threat in the future. (Project titan was the failed 7 year development of mmo that had time travelers jumping back in time to fight enemies based on historic figures. The time jumping class from Project Titan got turned into Tracer in OW1.) Also great humor, as is lol. Funny to think Angela began therapy sessions with the team after OW1's fiasco with Genji who never gotmental health help until he ran off to the shambali temple of all places 😢 maybe zen taught angela a few tips lmafo

@@umbra268 not possible sadly, since project titan had a "Kent to superman" type gameplay loop. In the day you did average mmo skills like farming, etc. At night you dawned a superhero identity and time traveled to fight bad guys. The time jumpers were an entire class that eventually became tracer, and since Tracer already has her lore, she wouldn't know a life like project titan tbh.

The dread of being in different timelines is something I wish Blizzard did more with Tracer. She could see timelines where new characters never occurred because, in our reality, never happened. And i find it neat you also put in the aspect of her being overshadowed as despite being the poster girl, she has been given less and less attention by Blizzard

Yes please 😭 if not, another character should fill the spot. Breaking the 4th wall is kinda cringey, but it would be so great and interesting in a game like Overwatch. It would be pretty hard to balance such a character but imagine it's like a support being able to stop the whole match. All the people can look around freely. The point of this? If a flanker is about to attack, the team can see and focus them. Would be ultra strong in bronze and pretty bad in higher ranks but still!

These discussions feel so natural. its especially nice with the touch of flaws and uncomfortability, with characters setting their boundaries and what theyre open too, and adaption from both sides to open up. Mercy, even though she can be a bit rough, always gives that caring aura for Tracer, making sure she doesnt feel left out. Its all vert well put together. This one was amazing, thank you!

I mained tracer, i was good at it too. Untill everyone(else) got slight health buffs destroying my mussle memory and making her ult useless. I stoped playing around the time the green centour was added. And having seen the state of the game sinds, i feel no need to go back.
