I have had bigger fish jump towards me in my float tube several jumps in a row and I have to put my rod high above my head and strip up my slack line as fast as I can to keep them on. I also had a fish take all my fly line to backing and turn back and swim towards me and I could barely reel fast enough to keep the line tight. Isn't Stillwater angling Great 😊. Great show fellas.

I have also experienced larger chronomids in shallow water and smaller ones out deeper. Do you know why this is at times ? Thanks for the excellent content over the year's

We feel the nutrients are more stable and consistent in shallow water and potentially grow larger Chironomids but this is only a theory.

What kind of loctite, where do you get it. Great show! What month?

Loctite 404 and I get it from ULine. Month was late May.

I was wondering what electronics you guys use while still water fishing like this? It looked like a Lowrance unit in the video but couldn't tell the model, is it directional? Thanks in advance!

We use all Humminbird fish finders. This unit is the discontinued Fishin’ Buddy that had side imaging. They have replaced this will the Mega Live system but very high end.
