GUYS THE OWNER OF THE DOGS IS THE OWNER OF THE VAN WHERE HE KEPT THEM. I LIVE BEHIND SAFEWAY AND I HAVE MADE MULTIMPLE COMPLAINTS ABOUT THESE DOGS. HE KEPT THE DOGS IN THE VAN. HE WOULD BRING THE DOGS OUT OF THE VAN AND TIE THEIR LEASHES AROUND THE POSTS BEHIND SAFEWAY. THE DOGS WERE AGGRESSIVE AND WOULD ALWAYS TRY TO JUMP YOU IF YOU WALKED BY. THEY WOULD BARK ALL NIGHT LONG. I HAVE A VIDEO OF THEM, AND THE OWNER. THE OWNER IS a short African American male.

My vet and her dog were menaced but not injured by a couple Corsos. The owner? A stroller Mom with no control over her dogs.

Cane Corsos are gorgeous dogs that make great protectors, but you’re right, they definitely need a strong stable owner. With a bite force of 700 PSI, they are no joke. People should need a license or at least documented effective training before ownership.

⁠@@circesoul2218They need to outright ban certain breeds of dogs. In the uk pit bulls are illegal and it banned from anyone owning it. Special training is expensive and it’s hard to find an experienced dog trainer who knows how to work with the dog. Most people don’t have the follow through or the commitment on the training.

I just googled "Cane Corso". It's an Italian breed of MASTIFF. Mastiffs are huge, powerful dogs. Some years back there was a very famous case of a woman who was attacked and killed by her (very strange) neighbors' two mastiffs just inside her San Francisco apartment, as she came home with her groceries. These dogs can sure do some damage.

Yes, Diane Whipple was killed by a Presa Canario, the evil owners, the couple, had two of them in their apartment. Fighting breeds are banned in many parts of North America but Califronia "protects" them. Never turn your back on them, Pit bulls and the likes.

A cane corso killed Diane Whipple in San Francisco in 2001. It was a terrible tragedy. Those dogs can be very dangerous when not trained and cared for properly.

I'm not against dogs as i like all animals, but this dog fad with everyone having a dog and bringing it to grocery stores, shops and even restaurants has got to go. The poop bags left all over especially on trails are also disgusting. Dogs off leash are unacceptable. Leave your dogs at home.

People who take their dogs everywhere they go is because they are emotional crippled who don’t the smart to seek professional treatment for their emotional baggage. They would be crying and throwing temper tantrum if they are not to take their dogs everywhere they go especially places like the grocery stores. It’s completely unacceptable and unsanitary. I guess they love the taste of their own dog waste with their food.

Plenty of people leave their dogs in the car with half the window rolled down. Doesn't have to be a "bad" neighborhood. But if I hear barking, I look around before heading into the store. I've seen so many different breeds trying to get to you. Leave your dogs at home.

Things have changed since the 80s and 90s, where you would maybe see one or a few people having a dog. In today's time, everybody and their mother has a dog, not just one but three or four. Many of these animals are untamed and irresponsible, making them even more dangerous. They are often treated exactly like human beings.
