@grizzlyboys32346 жыл бұрын
Here's what Whitlock is saying in an analogy. You could be a 95% free throw shooter (AKA Lebron handling adversity). And your coach (Whitlock) will still come up to you and say keep practicing your free throws, you can get better. You'll (Wiley and the other 2) say "what do you see how I'm shooting 95%." But there's still 5% that you aren't hitting. Now you could have other weaknesses in your game but the 5% you do miss is still a weakness. In my opinion I think Whitlock's overstating the weakness, but it's still there.
@MROOOZZZZZ6 жыл бұрын
LeBron's life adversity is no different than 99% of African American NBA players both past and present and many players handle adversity better than LeBron when the going gets tough because they don't run and hide, blame teammates, blame the head coach and behind the scenes, assist in trying to get an entire team traded away in order to get one player whose a non championship winning, unknown quantity and because the trade for Anthony Davis went bust that he along with his sports agent Rich Paul and Anthony Davis who have the same sports agent (Paul) he's not even acknowledging that actions trying to trade away all his teammates has significantly in a negative way, caused massive team dysfunction and non trust issues that greatly affects the team's overall performance and that's why the Lakers won't make the playoffs that's going to embarrass LeBron and his basketball legacy as he blames his teammates and coach Walton for his failures. LeBron did the same blaming and finger pointing in Cleveland, in Miami, back to Cleveland and now in Los Angeles bringing in and creating totally unnecessary drama to the Lakers entire basketball organization. Got broom swept in 4 straight games by the Warriors (lied about having and playing with a broken hand) and now with the 99.999% chance of not making the playoffs or losing in the first round of the playoffs (back to back failures) and as long as he's a Laker, the adversity and drama will continue because everything is all about him and nobody else..... adversity he can't handle because he's always wanting things his way regardless to who he screws over.

Whitlock missed the point. He sounds like a hater. LeBron could have gone the other way. About Lenny cooke, not sure about his name but he was the No. 1 player in the nation when LeBron started making his rise or something like that? They made documentaries about how blessed w/ talents and destined for greatness he was but yet failed, didn't even get to the league. Lebron asserted himself and put in the work. People forget that LeBron has gotten better at almost everything but free-throws every year he has been in the league. He's not Allen Iverson. He did inherit the God's given abilities, true, but he sharpened them, perfected them to the point that you can't say G.O.A.T of Sports w/o mentioning his name. That's adversity right there because he conquered it all. He's from the ghetto People, put in the work, walk a straight line n puts his namesake on the map and in the history books forever. If you're not self-driven and aware, you don't accomplish those kind of things when you're already born at a disadvantage, destined to be just an other statistic. That goes for every self-made, self-driven, successful and accomplished people that made it out of the hood or difficult situation on the strength of their own inner strength and drive.

You are absolutely wrong. LeBron James get all of the blame for the 2012 NBA finals. And whenever they bring up LeBron James three championships everyone said if it wasn’t for Ray Allen hitting the three-pointer he would not have won his second one or Kyrie hitting that three-pointer he would not have won his third one. Even today during the last four NBA finals people say LeBron James are one and three versus Golden State. Not Cleveland one and three versus Golden State but LeBron James.
