ive listened to them since 2017 and felt the same way even back then. it just reminds me of such hyper specific childhood memories of discovering mlp for the first time and all the joy it brought me as a lonely child

My god, looking back on the most beautiful work of the fandom really evokes a lot. But, knowing that nearly every one of these songs, videos, artworks, and fanfics that developed my teen years has faded into the white noise of the internet, to be deleted in a decade's time....it hurts more than it comforts me.

Many others feel the exact way you do and so a variety of archive projects have been started so these great pieces of art aren’t lost to time. Check out The Pony Archive to start, you’ll probably be able to rediscover a lot of older songs you haven’t heard in years.

This will be preserved. Somewhere. There's nothing really quite like this kind of media. I'm glad to have been able to buy a vinyl record with this song on it. That means that if I keep the record in good condition and stored well (which shouldn't be too hard), then it can be restored even after an EMP wave knocks out all electronics. You can be sure that record players will be redeveloped pretty quickly, since they're a pretty simple technology to the point that I think the early ones didn't even need to run on electricity.

I miss SoGreatandPowefull his Pmvs have an unique touch that cannot be matched and remind me the times when i just discover the Fandom... Thats why his Pmvs and music will always have a place in my memories and, of course, in my computer. Wherever you are right now, i wish you the best !!

If i'm not mistaking. Yes. He did stop making content all of the sudden. But maybe (probably) someone know what happened to him. One thing i know for certain, and that is that his music will always be remembered.

SGaP has never been very talkative so any comments on his motivation are speculative or from 3rd parties that know him in person. But essentially yes, at some point he just stopped making music. It's hard to put a finger on exactly when because he has stopped and started many time, and deleted his work in the past. But this time appears to be different, and unfortunately final.

This is easily one of the most enchanting songs I've listened to. As an aspiring artist it hits so close to my heart when she goes 'One more change' with the frantic ideas of creation in the background.

0:59, I saw General Mumble’s song, “Couldn’t You Just Simply Die” and didn’t realize it came out after this. I was losing it. 😂 Wonder if he saw this and it inspired him to make it. A lot of the voice lines sound awfully similar.🤔

I found this song for the first time about a year ago, and it still remains my favorite MLP fan song of all time. It's so great and it makes me nostalgic for the old days of the fandom, even though I just recently found it. I wish SoGreatandPowerful would come back.
