I have fond memories of the final boss. when I first played this, my grandpa was with me. he didn't understand anything, but he was enjoying it with me. a few days later when I had gotten to the goblin fight, I learned he died. so whenever I see the final boss fight, I think of him. Thanks for the play through guys. it brought up a lot of happy memories

I like how the Super Mech, being so close to the end of the game, feels like the first phase of a rather prolonged final boss, broken up with an escape sequence, a chase sequence, and ending with Gobby as the last phase. It's like they wanted to have something big as the final boss, so they threw the Super Mech in there.

It's weird that it never used its massive cannon on Johnny. I played this game a lot as a kid, and the super mech always ended up wiping me out with that thing. It was a road block for me for the longest time.

A weapon to surpass Metal Gear...Osbourne's ultimate weapon... And so the movie game comes to an end. God, was this a trip down memory lane. It was a joy to see one of my favorite childhood games resurfacing and being played once again, despite the many fuck ups. I still think that this is a good game, controls and the camera aside, and I absolutely love this game's soundtrack.(in fact, it's actually my favorite licensed game soundtrack ever)Can't wait till Spider-Man 2, though. I barely know much about it, much less played it, so it'll be fun to see in action.(especially with Elliot playing it. I look forward to see how you break the game this time, good sir)

Spider-Man: *In Snake voice* Otacon, I found Metal Gear! How do I stop him? Random Scientist: The name's David, Spider-Man. We've been through this. Anyway, from the looks of it, those generators on the robot and around the room seem to protecting its shield on its head. Try destroying those to disable the shield. Spider-Man: *In Snake voice* That seems like a very stupid design flaw. Did Stark make this too? Random Scientist: No, it was Hammer. Spider-Man: *In Snake voice* Hammer? Random Scientist: Exactly. Anyway, I still really like this game. It's aged in some areas, especially the stealth missions and Tobey Maguire isn't that good of a voice actor, but I find the game to be pretty enjoyable to this day.

Surprised that PSP's version of Spidey 2 decides to act as a sequel-ish in gameplay terms. Sadly doesn't have as many cheats, but they did bring back the "Tiny Spidey" cheat from the first game. Gotta say tho, Josh Keaton saying Toby's lines brings them much more life. Probs became pure and simple Josh is the essence of Spidey. Tho the VA in the PS1 games and Spidey Unlimited is second on my list along with whoever did the MTV Spidey series. In the end tho, at least it's these games aren't Spider-Man 3's movie game on PSP/PS2/Wii. Which is the equivalent of month old wet cardbord.

Final Bonus: 26740 Failures: 20 Oscorp's Ultimate Weapon, can actually get pretty tough, and you WILL lose health if you're not perfect. And REX's rail cannon really makes you a splat on the wall so I usually just use Impact Webbing on the four generators without getting too close. And as John shows, combos don't mean much on generators. Also what's up with Elliot's "worst part of the game" when this seemed easier (with the cuts anyway) than the last level? Also the escape level actually has EASIER robots, so don't get high and mighty over these because those were the easy ones! Also John has become John Flambé. And John get destroyed for doing the final part completely wrong in the first try. The Green Goblin chase is actually pretty hard and it is really strict even on the easier difficulties. Oh and about Tobey's acting, it's even WORSE in the next game. But Dafoe has actual energy. As you can see Mary Jane can get killed by Goblin attacking her, happened to me by accident last time I played. Also after Mary Jane is saved, go to her spot and let the bridge burn up, you'll see... And like I said, Advanced Web Gloves + Haymaker = Downed Goblin in two hits. Also most of the skins aren't in the Secret Store, but you can get Wrestler Spidey, Peter Parker, Early Design Spidey, and Harry Osborn as the Green Goblin. Others are Bowling, two CGI movies, and Infinite Webbing. 23:20 - When did SGB invite PandaLee for that? Also another missed opportunity to show SGB going outside. Sly 2 and Spider-Man will be ashamed.

Goblin Mode? EDIT: Fun fact is that Josh Keaton was originally supposed to voice Spider-Man before Toby McGuire became available late in the production. So they then recast Keaton as Harry Osborn and kept some already recorded combat dialogue for Goblin Mode.

I really hope you guys go for a Goblin run at some point. Getting to mess with all the Glider weapons is chaotic and fun as hell. Sadly you can only make 3 or so razor bats at a time. I still get nostalgic over this game and actually somewhat like this more than the first game, at least maybe in combat and getting all those different combos (there's defintely a TON more Gold Spiders hidden around which open up your combat MUCH more) and not to mention the cheats and extra modes and challeges in training. Surprised you guys found out about being able to break the glass and bypass the laser wall without having to deactivate it, took me some time to discover that. Either way, it was an awesome flashback seeing you guys play it, and actually makes me wanna revisit this and the PS1 Spidey games now, and maybe the PSP version of Spidey 2 since it actually builds on the first game's gameplay instead of going for a watered down version of the console version. Tho they did that with 3's Movie game on PS2/Wii, and that was just.....*blecgh*

You actually have to beat the game on Hard to unlock Goblin as a playable character. However, you can use the level skip code and skip every single level and it'll count as you finishing the game. That's what I did anyway.

So that was the game. It's still a good game, it's just aged a bit. Like John said, it can be VERY rough around the edges & kinda gets a little clunky for some mechanics. But to be fair, I still think this game is relatively fair until the 2nd half. The first half is my favorite part of the game, along with the fantastic OST the game has.[No Elliot, it's not forgettable] But you'll probably enjoy it a lot more if you more of a Spidey fan, then again, that can be said for most games nowadays. Still, this was a great LP of Spider-Man 2002. It was pretty fun to see the different perspectives SGB has on the game, along with the hilarious commentary. Great job guys!
