I like Mario's playstyle, but Dr. Mario fits me more in Melee, so i choose him over Mario, it's why clones are great. You know after all, Smash is about having fun with characters and not caring about how to organize the characters

Drew Christopher It's an extremely hard challenge that Projared created with his friends. Basically, in Melee, you have to turn Handicaps on, have Ganondorf as a computer player and set his difficulty AND handicap to 9, choose any character you want and set YOUR handicap to 3 (because of the difference if handicaps, one attack from Ganandorf will send you flying and you have to get him to about 400% to start sending him flying), have items off, and play on the stage Temple (because the underground area in that stage is your only way to survive a hit from him).

It's weird seeing smash bros matches on normal stages with items. At school on my floor in the dorms it was always omega and no items... It got way to serious and I needed to stop. I did a match like these guys and it was more fun than I remembered. Sometimes just a fun match isn't always bad!

I know I'm not supposed to nitpick how people play, but whenever I see someone play Olimar/ Alph and they have little experience with them it makes me immediately notice everything they are doing wrong. I'm happy Johnny didn't say Olimar was bad though... unlike most of my friends. So that's nice.

No character in this game is bad. It's just that some characters aren't as easy to use like others. Just because you suck with a character doesn't mean someone else can't come around and curb stomp you with them(...I should know...my friend showed me a year or so ago that Palutena can wreck you. Yeah, it was a 1 v. 1 match, but it still doesn't change much)! ;3

Busterman64 It's not about if you play the character or not it's mostly based on what tools they have and Olimar doesn't have much to work with which is where the Olimar is bad thing comes from most often than not. It's either Olimar is bad or Olimar is a cheep character because he relies on camping. I feel it's this way because on the casual side of Smash Bros he is a rare sight to say the least, but in competitive there are around 10 well known Olimar players so he gets some spotlight every so often. As a main of the captain myself I can tell you I've gotten some weird looks when I get to semi finals in small local tournaments.

HerosHelper I think that's where characters differ a bit. Some characters seem to shine more in a 1 v. 1 match than a 4 for all match (that and well...competitive play is much more serious, no items, and requires you know how to use a character well). Also, I never have been in any real smash tournaments(specifically Smash 4) or seen much of it, other than seeing some short videos of some of the funny/crazy/cool stuff that happens, but most of them are Melee stuff(with mainly Foxes, Falcos, Captain Falcons, etc). I will say though( with you using Olimar in Tournaments) that I never would've thought that people would get glares for that, but like I said, I don't see much of tournaments.

+Busterman64 I recommend you watch tournament matches with Olimar and Duck Hunt as those are what solidified me wanting to main those two. What started my interest in Duck Hunt was that my friends would get mad because it supposedly took no skill to play as the dog so I continued to practice until he was my second go to character and from what I have learned Duck Hunt requires a lot of micromanaging and forcing others to play your game.

I'm an avid shulk player, and I'm just going to say... try to avoid using buster in multiman smash. it's just not a good idea. Smash is fine though, usually as a revenge tactic once you come back from a death... and that he's not using shield when his damage is in the hundreds for some reason. That just uh... no. That was pretty much your only hope to be honest.
