For some reason, every time I see that opening cutscene, I keep picturing the newspaper going SPLAT into Shadow's face instead, sending him stumbling into the tree and knocking him unconscious - which explains the plot of the rest of the game; it was all a dream he had while he was knocked out!

Tip, to switch guns quickly stand over the gun you want and press the equip button this will switch the one on the ground to your hand and vice versa also 'lock on' weapons work like Gamma in Adventure so hold the button lock as many enemies as you can by swivelling the laser and unleash hell. Hope this helps

You know, another issue I have with the morality system in this game, Shadow doesn't really change upon how he looks at things. In Undertale, when you befriended every monster, they all slowly warm up to you as you feel happy. In the genocide run, they imply your unchanging face is more of a Murderous one

I love a good helping of SGB in the morning. Though, I have to ask if John had practiced playing Shadow before starting the LP? I think so, since the Heal Cannon is unlocked and you can only unlock the special weapons after getting the variant ending, but at the same time I almost can't believe any practice was done before recording. I'm sure we've all been there when it comes to watching someone play a game we have before and cringe when some mistakes are made. (Crash Bandicoot 3 anyone?) Especially the ones that aggravate the person playing, but man John. You must REALLY hate Shadow the Hedgehog, cuz I think you'd be playing better if you were drunk. XD (Also, to differentiate with the constant "helpful" comments about switching your dark or hero side buddies & objectives, you don't have to keep dropping your weapon to pick another one up, just stand over the new gun and the 'X' button should switch them. And one more because I know this one is a matter of life or death eventually: Triangle Jumping from wall to wall over pits: if you're near an the edge of where you're jumping to and it seems like you need to make one more jump, either run on the wall or jump when you're as close as possible. The game makes Shadow dive off a wall when you jump at the very end of the triangle jumps.)

+ShadyKnight9 Johnny's missing a potential loophole if he goes all neutral from here. Theoretically, he could show the level off without doing the Hero Mission, since the Neutral Mission would take you to the Semi-Hero Last Stage. Then for the True Hero run, just do the Hero Mission on the Sonic Race level to get to the True Hero Final Stage. Trust me, I don't want Johnny showing off that stage's Hero Mission either. It's legitimately and without exaggeration one of the worst designed things I have ever seen in a video game.

There's a great gun you get for beating the last story called the shadow rifle, it fires chaos spears and can kill a giant in one hit and is pretty much the best weapon in the game, it makes these vehicle sabotage missions a breeze, the later ones get really tricky without it if you don't ALWAYS have a good gun at the ready or use the machine gun posts

Let me explain what happened with that Dash Panel, Johnny. You were on the debris and tried going to the start of the Dash Panel as the debris faded, causing you to land on the Dash Panel and go forward at a lower height than you're supposed to be at, which caused your death.

Two things: The Vehicles that you have to follow don't have rubber band AI, they move at a set pace and the sub machine gun you said was semi-auto is actually fully automatic. The pistols are the only semi-auto weapons in the game.

For those of you that complain about "missing an alien/G.U.N Soldier in any level that isn't The Doom/Lost Impact all the enemies are on your main path to the end of the level. So unless you're an idiot the game you shouldn't have any trouble finding them.

I remember missing one GUN troop for a Dark Mission and it turns out to have been a flying GUN robot that was hovering slightly out of view plus when I first played the game I didn't realize there was still more level after the goal ring which I still think is stupid.

You can just hold B to make a lot of guns rapid fire. It works with most of them. Or at lest with the ones that are rapid fire type guns. Also X drops your weapon. And X will quick change your weapon with one on the ground. So you don't have to drop a weapon to pick up a new one. Just hit X on the weapon you want. And the other player can only control characters that walk. None of the flying partners can be controlled.

fun fact, there is a nasty glitch on certain versions of hte game, where if you were to pause the game and select either follower that you have yet to meet, you can't select the nutraul option in the pause menu causing to get stuck on the pause menu
