I love it how he just gets stuck into the music and the way he expresses himself, too many people are scared to go that way

Just saw these guys last night. The Van Buren, downtown Phoenix. Magical when they played this song. The energy, the sound, and passion was so overwhelming. It was simply incredible.

I molly and This song came on at a festival one night and I swear to god… it was amazing, I felt like I was in a movie. Like in project x when they are walking in slow motion to kid cudi playing. That’s how I felt

This is simply amazing! I love it! Such a huge stage/audience to fill/please & Future Islands just ooze with talent & confidence … the drummer is busting his guts with energy, the synth player looks like he's from the set of The Big Bang Theory but boy can he pound out a brilliant synth! The bass player is calmly pounding out a rock solid beat & the singer, well I just can't take my eyes of him, he delivers a passionate performance, is unpredictable & all in all Future Islands are one band I just have to see live!

As processions fade, New hearts doubt. But you are Golden and no one questions it. But who you fake and how you sound, Asks the best of men To share your sentiment I want to be the one to help you find those years That you've been talking about. Dreaming of the South And all those lost goodbyes, And all those lonely tears, You never got to cry, It never works out right, Unless you're one to follow. Where the silence takes too long, When the night falls--when the night falls oh so slow, And caution isn't ours. When the night falls--when the night falls oh so low, We may lose control. I want to be the one to help you find those years That you've been talking about. Dreaming of the South And all those lonely nights, And all those lost goodbyes,

Great band and great track, Sam is a class act. When you listen to the different instruments the drummer and beat are superb, I think he is a session musician but not part of the band, and to me, he plays a big part on this track. Wish I could see them live.

I’m commenting from 2024: Future Island became extremely popular and successful…gradually losing their dynamic emotional edginess. They replaced it with iambic pentatonic teeny bopper bland love songs. SH morphed from animalistic Neanderthal to Spotify Droid …

I'm afraid that the Future Islands fans would chase me out of the hall they were playing in after being doubled over in hysterical laughter watching that singer looking like he's having a stroke on stage!! What's up with those crazy gyrations of his?? I especially like that move where he' looks he's trying to stifle a load and needs to find a crapper ASAP!! Too funny!!
