Super stuff Charly. Just Been up and over the border for a week and got around to these two. Also checked out Corrour station and Ossian making an epic day 😊 Was Glad I stashed a bike near the old lodge ruin for a nice roll back ! Amazing views over Rannoch. VAST. Your Video(s), as always, very useful. Thank you 👍 👍

Hi Paul, Another super day we had but bloody cold. The views west are vast and always spectacular. We've been in that track a few times and it doesn't get any shorter LOL. Take care, Charlie.

Wonderful video again Charlie. It really does capture what a vast and desolate, but stunning place Rannoch Moor is.

My goodness, you're putting some miles in this week, Charlie. Very much enjoy seeing your trips, but with a touch of envy as my hip will no longer allow me to do any distance. At least through your excellent videos I can enjoy the munros I can no longer do. Best wishes.

Hi Ian, We're building up to our walking week in May which normally has us walking 7 days back to back. Its a pity about your hip but undoubtedly my knees will result in similar outcome at some point as they need a bit of looking after to keep things going........it's no easy getting old LOL. Cheers, Charlie.

Hi Ian, No, that's a new one on me.... its hard enough walking the hills never mind trying to prevent yourself from falling off a uni cycle. LOL. Take care, Charlie.

Charlie Just returned from loch Ossian, great location. I want to buy a decent warm jacket similar to yours recommend? Is it down or man made fibre? Regards, Patrick

Hi Patrick, It’s all about the layers. I have a variety of both down and man made tops. I tend to prefer the man made as it handles the continual washing after each walk but find both types provide the warm went damp. I tend to go for something mid range as the full padded jackets are too much for walking. My mid range forms part of my layers for walking through the seasons and on a normal day we would also carry a fresh dry inner layer to change into once the initial excretion was over. I also mix and match my outer layer depending upon conditions as the mid range outer struggles in winter or really wet conditions, that’s where my heavier outer shell comes into it’s own. Hope this helps…. Cheers, Charlie
