Bamburi Beach Hotel is located on the Kenya Coast 12 km north of Mombasa, 25 km from Moi International Airport, 500 metres from the Mombasa Malindi Road. It is set amidst lush tropical gardens with an extensive white sandy beach overlooking the beautiful coral reef of the Indian Ocean.
Mombasa town is serviced by regular and frequent road, rail and air links to the capital Nairobi 500 km away. Public buses and mini buses operate along Mombasa Malindi Road. Taxi cab facilities are readily available through-out mombasa and in the hotel itself.
Accommodation
Comprises of 150 attractive and vibrant deluxe bedrooms with Arabian style furniture, set in
three storey buildings, most with a superb view of the Indian Ocean. Every room has a ceramic tiled floor and private balcony with a beautiful wooden or concrete balustrade. The rooms have either two twin beds or a queen size bed and a single bed.

@@marthaokundi663 Hi, you should be 1 hour before 8am... so atleast be there by 7.am for checkups, ticket... It is recommended you go early. Leave Nairobi by 5:30 am to avoid traffic

I`ve been vacationing in Kenya for over 20 years, not to mention that I`m a Kenyan. My experience has always been mixed.I do stay in a hotel at the beach for a week then spend a week upcountry with my family. On my last visit(March to April this year) again mixed.I can never seem to get it 100% right.I used SGR, I must admit I was surprised at how convenient and punctual they are, I just wish the stations were conveniently placed, driving to Miritini to take a train...........not convenient. Another thing I did not like is that if you make a mistake with your booking, you have to wait for 7 working days to get a refund, what if you are not around in 7 days.Did I mention the searches before you enter the booking hall is just a pain? Anyway,lovely to see things through your lenses.

Hi, one thing I have learnt about SGR is that you need to plan yourself and key in the right information to avoid problems. They are far you have to take a cab then that means you wakeup very early and leave early and when you get there, the security check is very hectic but its for our own good 😀 about the refund, I am glad you mentioned it I did not know... but I believe when you plan all this right you will get to have a good experience with SGR.. sorry you did not have a nice experience but I am glad you had a wonderful time with your family.
