This song is very powerful in so many ways. Anyone who has witnessed tragedy, any combat action will definitely understand where I am coming from. Good representation of the song by visuals presented. The bag pipes although beautiful, tear me up inside. Stay safe all`

When I saw the movie: We were Soldiers, I heard this music & found it was very nice. For long time, I thought it was:" Many men have gun. ".In my mind, people having gun is very cool & brave. I tried to find the song long time but I failed. So I typed "man have a gun" into the youtube search bar, then I found the familiar music. It was " Many men have gone." and not "Many men have gun." I like this song and will learn it.

Sung in Scots (note - NOT in Gaelic nor Irish) in memory of Charles Stuart MacKenzie, a sergeant in the Seaforth Highlanders, from the Elgin-Rothes area in Moray, Scotland in World War I. Sgt MacKenzie was bayoneted while defending another injured Seaforth Highlander during hand-to-hand trench warfare. He died 09 April 1917.

Everybody here has allowed those bag pipes to break their heart. Stay safe, ya’ll. And remember, we can’t let a battle like Antietam ever happen again. Probably one of the darkest days in American history, yet its name is hardly spoken of. The casualty count of a battle kicking off the Civil War was worse than D-Day 1941, so profound to think. Truly the first Modern War.

War is war, no matter where it was, It shouldnt matter of how much any nation has taken but should we should find a way that there is no tragedy. Let all nations, USA (America is made up of all the nations of North America and South), nations in Europe, and all around the world find a way to keep peace and let humanity focus on better things like space, medicine and progress.
