Thank you Jeff for that Brutally Accurate review of that thing.....I was on the fence about getting him, still a Sgt Rock fan and I am near 60. Greg Cook had shown him in one of his hunt videos and made think on getting him. I am sorry you made the purchase, but I am glad you did this Awesome review, Again sorry for your loss....

Jeff, you certainly hit the nail on the head. I could have looked past the crappy head sculpt but the inaccuracy of the uniform is the worst. Not to mention that no weapons were included. Only a shovel so he can dig his own grave. Lol. Great review. Your son can at least play with it. 👍🏻

Great review man, that thing is a turd, call'em as they are, uniform is all wrong and no guns?? Really what the heck is the point, sad. I got the Dreams and visions and the 13" dc direct version, both blow this out of the water.

Dude, once you mentioned Sgt Savage I laughed on the rest of your review - you hit it on the military nose! Great review, I will wait for a clearance sale, by the as you mentioned McFarlane has had a bunch of misses. As a DC fan I passed on the Wonder Woman, legs too long on one and dumb design on another. I did manage to get Batman Beyond but his ankles were too large and funny looking and they put peg holes in his wings instead of his arms and on top of that his wings were not removable! He’s been in the toy industry for quite awhile and he still makes figures like this 🙄

As soon as you said McFarlane, I knew it was crap. I bought a few of the Marvel superheros for my nephew back in the late 90s, and within a half hour, 3 out of 5 were in the workshop, waiting for the epoxy to cure. I ended up taking him back to the store and bought him some G.I. Joe Hall of Fame guys and a handful of the carded uniforms. After we got home, within 10 minutes of opening up the Joes and their uniforms, McFarlane was a distant memory while Duke, Heavy Duty and Grunt proceeded to kick Cobra Commander and Destro's butts. Good Times! As for this monstrosity, the first thing I noticed was the horrible paint job on the 5 o'clock shadow on Rock's face...he looks like a 14 year old who stole his sister's eyebrow pencil to draw on a beard and mustache in a pathetic attempt to look more "grown up." The rest of the painting is pretty bad, they seem to have followed the Hasbro Classic Collection philosophy of just slapping a heavy black wash on everything to make it look "weather-beaten." It didn't work for the 12 inch guys, and it's no better on this pipsqueak. Going deeper, not being able to fold the entrenching tool is just pure laziness, that knife is definitely not a WWII combat knife by any stretch of the imagination and looks like it would be better suited to Warduke or any of the other Dungeons and Dragons characters, and the final insult is the lack of the iconic Thompson smg that Rock used to mow down anything that looked even vaguely German. Bummer. But on the bright side you do have the awesome Dreams and Visions Easy Company, which is superior in every imaginable way. Great review, and don't feel bad about the negative comments - there is nothing praise worthy about this piss-poor junk. If I had seen it on the pegs, I would have probably been escorted out of the store for laughing hysterically. As always, Keep Living the Adventure. Just don't rely on "Sergeant Crock of Shit" here to have your back.

Who approved them including that trading card that shows what Sgt. rock looks like right next to the head sculpt that looks nothing like the trading card 😂 I appreciate you trying to be positive with this one, but sometimes a product is so bad, you just have to tell it like it is.

I have not really liked any of the DC figures, but that one was definitely below par. I am waiting for a replacement screen for my resin printer, but I could do a Thompson for you if you like.
