This is the moment you’ve been waiting for! Master car builder, Stacey David, shows off the truck that’s had the nation talking for ten years! Take a look back at the kid with the dream. Follow the design and fabrication. See what happens when the military tribute vehicle rolls out and conquers the road! This episode is gonna be epic. It’s been a long road, but anything worth doing well is worth the wait. This week, the wait is over. Sergeant Rock Lives!

I realized that you had spent a considerable time building "Sgt Rock" (I wonder how many people will remember the Sgt Rock comic book series. I lived on them when I was a kid), however I had no idea that it was over ten years. Nor did I know of the history behind it. How cool it must be to obtain the one you first fell in love with at the age of five. Also to find out the "Memphis Belle " was your inspiration, great. The B-17 Flying Fortress has been my favorite aircraft since I was seven. I saw her a couple of times while she was on mud Island and have visited her many times during her restoration at Wright Patterson. To bad she could not have stayed in Memphis though. Thanks again for the project.

Stacey, I've been waiting since your days of the Power Block TV days when you first got that truck. And I can remember exactly what you said too. "I've got plans for this truck. Big plans. REAL BIG plans." You were in the process of building that truck and then you left the show. I never thought I'd ever see Sgt. Rock up and running. Well done sir! Well done!

This is a dream truck. I've loved it and never forgot it since the day I first saw it. I love the color too! I'm so glad this came up on my "suggested videos" list! You did an amazing job on this truck. Theres not one thing I would change. I haven't even finished watching the video yet, but I hope it ends with some noise! I want to hear this bad boy run! I bought a 49 Oshkosh snowblower truck with inspiration from this build. I also picked up a 5.9 cummins p pump 12v, a dana 80 and some durabrite Alcoa super singles so far. I have to fab a new chassis or figure out something I can rob one from. I got tired of building muscle cars and drag cars. Looking forward to a new experience.

I remember many years ago (8-10) Stacey was taking a Ford Ranger pickup and turning it into a Baja type vehicle. He pulled the fenders off and put on flared fiberglass fenders and bed sides. That was in 1 - 3 episodes and I never saw anymore about that project. It was like it just disappeared. I loved all his projects but that one look like something I could do and have a use for.........

Loved this show, and this build specifically. But, am I the only one who remembers when he first started this build, it was with 49" tall tires? I don't believe the 54's had come out yet. My friend says it was always with the 54's, but I'm positive Stacy made that change after the build was already underway. I even recall on an episode where he mentioned the "massive 49 Iroks" (I think).

In this episode kzbin.info/www/bejne/joO8cpianb2Ii7M He rolls out what is definitely a different tire (what looks like a swamper TSL to me) than what's on it now but he doesn't say a size. I do think I heard him say 49's but I don't remember what episode he said it in though

Watching the 4 wheel steering system, when you go sideways, it reminds me VERY much of the crosswind crab system on a B 52. That aircraft can do the same thing. So it's kind of weird to see such a huge aircraft literally turn on a dime.
